What a sad case.So many questions to answer. Why did the school take the student to douala instead of yaounde as was requested by the family? Why did the school not take the student to Muna`s clinic as was requested by the family? The family can file a case against the school for all these lapses.Worst of all the school authorities are saying so many stupid things after the dead of the student.May her soul rest in peace.
what the hell with our utility companies. Can these bills not be paid in post offices to ease overcrowding? The post office is also stupid not to negotiate such a juicy contract. Some private banks could also negotiate to act as pay points for utility companies. All our ministers have been abroad but they fail to learn or practice what is happening in the western world.Shame.
All researchers in the ministry of scientific research and university lecturers are leaving.Mr PM did you not receive the complaints of researchers who were recruited and the SG of the ministry (Mr Dube)insisted they should dismiss them? After fighting hard, they decided to employ them as contractors to earn 80,000 frs.WHO ON EARTH WITH A MASTERS DEGREE, TALK LESS OF A PHD WILL EARN 80,000 FRS?brain drain is just starting.you will see more.
shame.press conference in a drinking bar.
why is government so much interested in this man getting into ICJ?Why all the campaigns? This shouldn`t be political because only the best minds should be there. If he is good, they will know from his CV.What i think is that, the gov`t wants him to be there to protect those of them who will be brought infront ICJ for all the crimes they are doing in cameroon.Even if he is there, sorry, he can`t influence the other judges because they are decent people. If he wants to go there let him sanitise first the corrupt judiciary we have in cameroon.
Please somebody should inform me where did Dr Benz obtain his PhD?thanks in advance.
I wonder how no news organ in cameroon carried out the participation of the national basketball team in the pre olympic qualifiers in Athens on the 14th and 15th of july 2008. Even CRTV. The reason is clear, the government has not paid these players their wages and arears. The players almost boycoted the tournament on the first day insisting to have their money before playing. Thanks to some negotiations and pleadings from the assistant consul in Greece and the secretary general of the federation, the players now decided to play. They arrived the stadium just some minutes before the match (against the rules). This has resulted to a huge fine from FIBA and may be a ban in future FIBA organized games. Because of the lack of moral and motivation, the team lost the 2 matches because the players did not train before the matches. The worst of all, THE PLAYERS ARE NOW STRANDED IN ATHENS after their elimination. Contacted on phone, one of the players has said, if their situation is not regularized within 48hrs, hell will be broken loose.BEWARE.

WHAT A PITY? What is SDF doing?Lapiro is a prominent SDF figure and SDF hould do everything possible to get him released.Or do they not know what to do?All diplomatic bodies should be properly informed. Some organized protest all over the country(may be sit in strikes to avoid the killings of innocent cameroonians), all musicians, artists, journalists, human rights activists should go on strike. All sauveters, truck pushers, ben sickins etc should go on strike.stay at home no work for one week. There will be pressure from the international community and Lapiro and others will be released.ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.THIS IS THE TIME TO ACT.
Dante, well done.You know them.

shame to the police. How could they release somebody who committed such a terrible crime?Innocent school children who demonstrated against constitutional changes were detained, imprisoned and some killed while hardened criminals are roaming our streets.God save us from this injustice.Amen
Dear Mr Taninche, I am sorry you might find this case very difficult to handle. This is feymanism at a higher level.Otto Pfister is the main man and you are the mugu.If you didn`t sign legal documents to this transaction then it is going to be tough. He has surely given the percentage he wanted to give you to officials of the ministry directly to secure his position especially as fecafoot didn`t approve him.Take courage.
Kumba administration should stop pointing fingers at individuals. What does it cost the administration to buy fire extinguishing vehicles and fire alarms? This is a natural disaster and the insurance companies should pay for it.Also, the council and taxation departments should compensate all those who lost their properties because they are collecting dues from the traders and are supposed to provide protective devices in the markets. What are they doing with the millions they collect as market dues?GOD SAVE US.
Shame to the police!!I want to see what the administration and the justice department will do the police officers in kumba over this human abuse.
May the souls of the departed rest in peace. However, we owe them a duty to find out the real cause of their death. One of the following three things could be the cause of their death: 1.The Gov`t could be behind this assasination since BB was a straight forward man and the Gov`t junta don`t like such people. 2.It could be the juju planted in UB that is at work. How many UB lecturers have died in road accidents? 3.It could be a natural cause and divine calling. Gentlemen, let`s find out the real cause of this massacre. If the Gov`t has a hand in it then those in Gov`t should be made to pay for this by burying these guys with a powerful juju to hunt their killers later on.I know religious fanatics will not buy my idea but remember, our african religions existed before some of the western religions. If it is the juju in UB at work, ALL UB LECTURERS SHOULD RESIGN IMEDIATELY if those who planted the juju can`t remove it.If the lecturers have ears let them hear. If it is a natural cause because of the narrow roads in cameroon, then we wish all those in govt who have a role to expand this road TO ALSO DIE SAME ON THIS ROAD.When they die on this same road, their successors will be afraid to die also and they will expand the road. After all, BB is more than all the monies they need to expand this road. The 3 intellectuals gone have gone with human resource that is worth the budget of cameroon. THE FIGHT IS ON.ALL LECTURERS PUT ON YOUR ARMOUR.ALL THOSE WHO WANT A CHANGE FOR CAMEROON SHOULD KEEP FEAR ASIDE AND ACT NOW.
Shame to cameroon custom service. How can the customs service ask for custom duties for freely donated materials for the needy? No where in the world do they ask money for materials meant to help the needy i.e. non profit making goods. This goes a long way to discourage philanthropists from donating to the needy ones in cameroon.Rotary international has been donating so many things to the less priviledged ones world wide and no government asks for money except Cameroon. Why cameroon?are we cursed?HIPIC my anus! When the govt can`t provide basic commodities to the needy, they should be grateful when philanthropist do this. All the off road vehicles bought for govt officials are duty free(even at exagerated prices) why should freely donated materials for the needy be taxed?Do we want all the poor to die b4 we become sensible? We must fight this corruption now and throw them out b4 they throw us to the grave.ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
23 Years of suffering. What can Biya boast of in the field of sports in 23 years? No football stadium built by him etc.In the field of education, YES HE ENCOURAGES BRAIN DRAIN because he does not like intelectuals. Those even recruited are even maltreated and dismissed.Take the example of researchers and teachers who were recruited and stayed for years without salary and finally they are dismissed. 23 years cameroonians have not known justice and human rights or else such things will not happen. For 23 yrs cameroon has been corrupt nation number one . For 23 years the salaries of civil servants have been reduced by over 200% and prices of commodities increased by over 1000%.For 23 years, scholarship for students at all level has been scraped off.For 23 years almost all our embassies abroad have been closed down e.g France embassy which is now operating in somebody`s apartment after the landlord chased them away.In Belgium and Spain the embassy is an eyesore. In Greece the embassy is operating in the sitting room of a greek man so called Honorary consul when we have so many cameroonians to hold such post.In Britain, the embassy can`t pay its bills and is currently having some legal suits against it.In the US the curruption in the embassy has attracted the attention of FBI. Look at our roads before Biya and the situation now.Wasteful 23 years.Mr Biya, kindly take stock and resign as Ahidjo did.
Thank you Cheboy. You said it all.How can she think that teachers, researchers etc who have been deprived of their rights and priviledges in cameroon before going abroad could ever be happy with mr Biya and his cohorts.Beware these cameroonians in diaspora are wounded and they will soon bite.
I am shocked at what is happening to Wome`s family and the Gov`t is keeping quiet. To miss a penalty is it a crime?Afterall even the captain and Etoo fils did not have the courage to take the penalty.Wome did not miss the penalty purposely to merit the maltreatment some rascals are giving him and his family. If he had scored, what would you have given to him different from the other players?I think he also feels bad not going to the world cup(even more than the rascals who want his head). How many of these rascals have stonned or destroyed the properties of all these CPDM thieves who steal our monies everyday? How many of these rascals have stoned people who rig elections in Cameroon? How many of these rascals have stoned the minister of defence who grants scholarship secretly to Ewondos to go for military training in europe every year? These scholarships are never published.Same situation happens in the ministry of higher education that grants secret scholarships without publication ewondos.Go to all the european countries and find out from Cameroonians in diaspora. How many of these rascals have stonned the minister of public service for corruption. How many of these rascals have stonned the prime minister or the minister of scientific research for recruiting researchers and refusing to pay them? How many of these rascals have stonned the prime minister or the minister of national education for recruiting teachers and refusing to pay them? How many of these rascals have stonned the minister of youth and sports for influencing the coach not to field in MBAMI,KAMENI OR MOKAKE because they are not his tribes men?Do we think God is blind of all the bad things going on in Cameroon? The Cameroon Gov`t should compensate Wome Nlend`s family for all the losses he has incured because he was in the battle field to defend his country.God knows why he missed the penalty. We should learn to accept defeat.Do we think that the Ivorians are not also God`s children?God loves all his children.LEAVE WOME AND STONE ALL THE CORRUPT MINISTERS IN CAMEROON!!!!!
It is really sad to hear of what is happening to the SDF.Do the NEC Members know how many Cameroonians have lost their properties and lives because of SDF?If yes think about your decisions before things get rough with you. What is happening to Wome`s family just because he lost a penalty is far better than what will happening to NEC Members very soon.Fru Ndi should resign for peace to reign and for SDF to be one.Mbah Ndam and all those intoxicating the chairman should know that power belongs to the people.
Yes, the SDF needs a change as the party`s slogan puts it.Fru Ndi and all his executive staff have done a lot and need to take a rest.It is better to leave the stage at a point where you still a star than at a point where you are unpopular.Fru Ndi still commands a lot of respect from Cameroonians today and i believe he should step down and maintain his status as a figure in Cameroon`s politics. With the resignation of his SG, the rumours about Mbah Ndam,Founding fathers` problems and the disputes btw his parliamentarians, i think a new person should come up and reconcile all the factions we have in the SDF today. Also all national Bureau members who are serving a second term of office and all parliamentarians/mayors serving a second term should know they should be serving their last tenure in office. The SDF constitution should state that all office holders should hold such offices for a maximum of two terms. This will force CPDM and all parliamentarians to make the Cameroon constitution copy the SDF standard. If Fru Ndi steps down honourably, then Biya will also certainly step down and there will be good grounds for true democracy in Cameroon. And the next president of Cameroon, be it from the CPDM or SDF will think of Fru Ndi and honour him because he would have been the man behind Cameroon`s democracy. FRU NDI SHOULD SET AN EXAMPLE FOR BIYA TO FOLLOW.THIS WILL BE THE GREATEST CHALLEGE AND LESSON TO THE CPDM/BIYA.we need Biya to leave power by whatever means we can.

Prof Lambi, Congrats. However i have pity for you because Your deputies and registrar will frustrate you with their bad administrative style inducted in their system by Dorothy(Dr). Try your best, you may succeed if you cooperate with the staff and students union.
Dr Agbor is a graduate from the University of Calabar, Nigeria. He did his PhD for two years(rush and go) because his supervisor was old and was going on retirement. So he is not well cooked academically.Outside this, he was an executive of NUCS .He mismanaged the funds of NUCS and was always fighting. He was nicknamed the fighting Postgraduate student. He has a lot of skeleton in his cupboard. His present behaviour should not surprise anyone.Find out details from any ex NUCS Calabar who is presently lecturing in UB or working in Cameroon.
