Empathy bellies are usually relegated to high school males in "life" classes. This bullshit will only serve to bring more ridicule and categorized resentment toward female Soldiers who aren't even pregnant. This is some of the most asinine crap I've ever seen.

It’s not a matter of “incumbent”, but one of character, values, principles, and support of the military and veterans. Dems have a reputation for anti-military, anti-veteran radicalism. It’s a propensity they’ve had for a good 45 years. For the VFW-PAC to endorse these incumbents without taking their anti-military spite into consideration, is an indication of either ignorance or carelessness. In anycase, it’s inexcusable.

It all depends on who you're dealing with. More than once, I've had to get blunt with politicians who forget they work for us, not the other way around. These are the same fine folks who refered to GITMO Soldiers as "nazis", and denigrate Tea Party patriots as "evil mongers" and "terrorists". Respect has to be earned. When you behave as a mouthpiece for America's enemies and consistently slander veterans, cuss words usually suffice as part of the response.

I just called the VFW HQ. Evidently the PAC is getting swamped with calls and I was directed to leave my name and phone number for a return call, which I did. I want their explanation as to why they feel it’s necessary to endorse anti-military,non-prior military, and anti veteran politicians. That’s just bat-shit crazy. I’m a life member of the VFW and I’m seriously thinking of sending my card back with a resounding “F**K YOU”.

Hey Uncle Jimbo, my two cents: Oh gawd, let’s not do anything to make the enemy hate us. Newsflash: General Petraeus' pusillanimous ROE will endanger more Soldiers than a book burning. If all the Taliban did was burn bibles instead of beheading, planting IEDs, bombing, murdering, and committing terrorism across the globe in the name of “allah”, there would be no problem. If Petraeus wants to jump into the religious fray, not only should be level some indignation toward the muslims, but he can chew the ass of Fred Phelps and his slimy bunch of assclowns, who show up at military funerals and wave signs with ”God Hates Fags” printed on them. Petraeus has devolved into political correctness. I don’t give a shit what muslims think about our conduct anymore than I care what the Nazis, Fascist Italians, and Imperialist Japs thought in WWII. WE ARE AT WAR with a culture that wants to turn the world into a Caliphate and that combines terrorism with its religious doctrine. Obviously, some people think it’s okay to take 3000 lives in our country and commit atrocities across the world in the name of “allah”, but burning a Koran gets their panties in a wad. All Dhimmis can do is get wrapped around the axle over the “sensitivities” of a gutter culture stuck in the perverted philosophy of a 7th century Islamic zealot. The entire Middle East should be scorched. In the biblical sense. The Koran incites radical, violent behavior among muslims and directs them to inflict that violence on “infidels”. When the world starts behaving as if the threat from fanatical Islamic cutthroats is real, instead of blaming America for their Koran-inspired bloodbath, the better off they’ll be.

I disagree, Jimbo. Since Obama took office, the ROE situation has become an absolute Charlie Foxtrot. Obama insists that “winning isn’t necessarily a goal”, and his dicked-up foreign policy reflects that. His idiotic campaign to fight “negative stereotypes of Islam” totally ignores the realities of the violent, ideological religion. I feel so sorry for the military troops still serving under this assclown. Allowing Michael to get kicked to the curb is a big mistake on General McCrystal’s part. The troops need more dedicated, loyal journalists like him to continue reporting the news that the leftwing MSM either slants or refuses to publish. The higher-ups added gasoline to this fire by dismissing him without a valid reason. If they didn't like what he reported, they should have the guts to say so. Just my 2 cents.

I'm dead set against allowing the leftwingnut media pukes to attend the arrival of a fallen troop's body. You can bet your ass that the anti-war malfeasants like Code Pink will soon follow.

I was surprised to see that this film was shown at the Sundance Film Festival--liberal Robert Redford's brainchild--until I read Cisco's post. It figures that the sacrifice of American troops in a war fought against the Left's ideological soulmates, would be used in this fashion. Big. Surprise.
