Do you love to dance? Sing? How about having music on in the background while you work, dine, play? Or while you meditate, cook, make love? It's a must for doing housework, and entertaining! I love music. The energy that carries each song, vibrates and infuses everything... including my body. Today, I'm feeling inspired by music so I've put together a collection of my current favorites. (And no, "My Favorite Things" is not currently on my list... but it once was!) Lizz Wright ~ I own all three of her cd's, love them all. The Orchard is my fave. I... Continue reading

If you haven't heard of Chip Conley and how he reinvented his hotel company in the last economic downturn... and even if you have, I think you'll enjoy seeing this recent presentation he made at a forum hosted by The Economist. Chip Conley is founder and former CEO of Joie de Vivre Hospitality, America's second largest boutique hotel company. They're based in San Francisco. I remember first hearing of him and how cool he was in the hotel biz when I lived in SF in the early-mid 90's. One of my favorite massage therapists of the time also worked at... Continue reading

I am moved and nourished and inspired by your responses here. I want to be able to reply to your comments, but find it difficult to do on this blog (due for a new format). I welcome you to share your Fresh Starts and commitments to a Life Well and Fully Lived with me. Perhaps the best place for that, for now is http://facebook.com/tambraharck.speaks

I curled up on the loveseat recently with a new book, "Super Acheiver Mindsets," by Berny Dorhmann. The passion, commitment and underlying faith with which he wrote this book comes pouring through, keeping my attention, raising my bar. Yes, I am the one who many people turn to when they want their bar raised. I may be that person for you. I stand in great faith and belief when I look at another, knowing that you are made for greatness. Your own personal brand of Radiance. It's Your Radiant Identity. I see it. I call you to more of You.... Continue reading

On Dec 22, 2011 a long time friend, Nancy, died. Twelve days later was her 60th birthday. We gathered in the home she and her husband built recently, a beautiful, creative, artistic home. People from many of the circles she moved in came together to honor the life she lived. We visited the altar with her ashes, looked at pictures, shared stories, hugged her partner who now knows the initiation of being widowed. What I did not say to anyone yesterday was that Nancy's life, in her final days, inspired me to step up with even greater commitment and courage... Continue reading

Years ago I had the exhilarating experience of flying on a trapeze. No, I won't be joining Cirque du Soliel this life time. Although, I've been thinking about it and telling this story recently, and thought I'd use my high-flying lessons to demonstrate a way you can set your Soul Desire in motion. This is what I discovered from our high-flying friends: When you stand on the edge, the very edge of the platform, trapeze gripped firmly with both hands, You lean out into the space. Your body is strong and supple. You look in the direction you want to... Continue reading

Questions to ponder: Why do you think so many people deny what they Love? What do you tell yourself is the reason you cannot or will not commit to Love... to being, doing, expressing, feeling, having that which you love? Sometimes people tell me, "Oh, but I don't know what I love." I don't believe that. You know, they know. There may be more to discover, but you know what you Love! Your heart and soul know. Do you think like others that you are too tender to feel the power of your love? That it's overwhelming and frightening? Or... Continue reading

If you listen to mainstream news, or read it, or talk about what's being reported, it's easy to lose focus on how amazingly abundant and joyous life really is. That is one of the inspiring things about the "Occupy" campaign that is happening now... and spreading across the US and the world. Standing together to say, "Enough," is empowering. And yet, there's a great deal of focus on the "split" ... and a split, whether it's between the 1 and 99%, or by race, gender, sexual preference, or any of the other things we habitually focus on, keeps us from... How could words ever express the full scope of what I mean when I speak of Love? Beyond definition, the energy of Love is everywhere and nowhere, all the time for infinity. It is your breath. It is your blood, the beating of your heart when you feel nervous or delighted, sad or enraged. Love is the horizon, a storm, the changing Earth, the night sky. Love is beaming from your own heart, illuminating everything and everyone around. It is in the glance or hug or smile or tear of every living being. Expressions of Love are wherever you are,... Attention all spiritual messengers, lightworkers, visionaries & evolutionaries! Do you know deep down that you have a message in your heart, a powerful gift to share with the world, a calling in your soul - but something is holding you back from being who you came here to be? Maybe along with that message in your heart you also have a little voice (or many) in your head, that says things that undermine your own heart? Maybe you’re not even sure what that message is, or what you are here to do? Or, perhaps you are already living your mission... Continue reading

Just a last week we experienced an Equinox. Here, where I live, midway between San Francisco and Napa, California, it's now officially Autumn. (Of course, for our friends who live on the southern half of our great planet, it's Springtime!) The Equinoxes are a time of Balance. Nature is reflecting to us the balance of day and night, of dark and light, of consciousness (enlightenment) and unconscious (in the shadow.) The Balance Point of an Equinox reflects to us what's often called "The Law of Polarity." For any thing to exist, for us to perceive its existence, there are two... Continue reading

I had the joy recently to attend an event where I was invited to speak to a roomful of women who came to experience and learn about building community. As a natural-born connector, I have always been able to float between communities, often serving as a bridge for others to meet and connect. One of the things I appreciated about this event is that throughout the day, we explored a number of communities that everyone has, including family and one's inner community. It was a day of connections... in so many ways. I love speaking, and leading others through healing... Continue reading

And if we want to create a different way of being in the world -- a way that is grounded in Love, Acceptance, Appreciation, Justice, and PEACE, we must come together in new ways. I invite you to celebrate peace with a truly amazing line-up of inspiring leaders and peacebuilders such as Alice Walker, Deepak Chopra, Marianne Williamson, Arun Gandhi, Michael Bernard Beckwith, Daniel Goleman, Jane Velez-Mitchell and many more. Two of the speakers are women you might not yet recognize. I shared a stage with them last... Continue reading

I first heard of this book while listening to NPR, driving to a meeting in San Francisco. Bill George, the author, was Speaking My Language. He showed me a blind spot I had... one that didn't see that people in big business were actively valuing the work I and my colleagues do; and the importance that developing one's self is essential in leadership and well-being. Excerpt from review on amazon.com: Why should you read True North? In the March 2007 PBS television show entitled "Now" Bill George was interviewed by the show's host David Brancaccio. When he was asked if... Continue reading

A few weeks back, I joined Karyn Krause Amore, aka Super Yoga Mamma (how's that for a fun name to call yourself?!) in a rich and insightful conversation on her new teleseries, "How to Live from the Heart." We talked about some things I have never discussed on an interview... things that usually come up only in private retreats or group programs. It was an exciting call. And we're both still receiving messages from women who have listened to the call LIVE or in the replay. They are, each of them, filled with gratitude, aha's and clarity. That's why Karyn... Yesterday I looked out the window to see a flurry of activity in the trees out back. I'm still smiling at the sight of all those hummingbirds! When we chose the plants to include in our landscaping I wanted to call in butterflies and hummingbirds. All summer they've been visiting the garden. Sometimes, it seems, that they come only to flaunt their flutter for the cats. They delight me! Then today, I went out to do a little garden clean up. While in the shed, you know what I found? On one door: the beginnings of a wasps nest... and... Continue reading

Soul loves paradox. Often when those experiences that seem like you're facing a "this or that" choice, and it doesn't seem quite fitting to choose, ask yourself, "what is a third possibility?" Now... listen to your body, imagination, fantasy... Soul will open up to expansion. (This is one key question I ask my clients often... Hmmm, I wonder: What is a third possibility?) Spiritual mentor, author and inspirational speaker, Tambra Harck, guides clients and audiences to empower themselves through accessing their innate wisdom, creativity and true desire. Her warm and insightful nature makes her a powerful speaker, often creating unexpected... Continue reading

Do you ever just wish you could turn off all the "bad" news for a while and relax into something that lifts your spirits and eases your mind? There are times when it can feel nearly impossible to maintain a compassionate attitude and a sense of hope in the midst of the struggles and challenges we see in the world around us. Yet, as spiritually-minded person, you know how important it is to nourish the "good" on the inside ... so you can create more soul-level success on the outside. I'm guessing you're a lot like me... that you may... Continue reading

When I was around 10 years old, I looked out the kitchen window and saw what I've now come to describe as a vision. In this vision, gazing out into a different time and space, I saw a world that was different than the world I knew us to live in. There was no war. There was no fighting. There were no perpetual us vs. them games. There was no positioning to "take over the world," nor to save it from others. We honored wholeness and understanding. I had a sense of knowing, as my vision came into view, that... Continue reading
