Gosh this looks like a fun workshop with a great bunch of creative folks
Brand new online workshop!
A few months ago I was invited to participate as an instructor in "Mixed Media Studio", a brand new, collaborative workshop offered through Big Picture Classes. It was such an honor to be invited to participate - especially with the other instructors, several of whom are friends of mine! Mixed...
Good Luck on your new adventures Nic
Thanks for your part in making papercrafting what it is in this part of the world
Looking forward to that chat in a bar sometime
So is that it for you and scrapbooking, Nic?
A question asked of me on facebook last night: So that's it for you and scrapbooking Nic? And my answer: That's it for me and scrapbooking. No regrets, just great memories. I kinda think I lost interest when my children stopped saying cute things, when I stopped being able to tell their stori...
fun page, all those little details make for an interesting page
Fall Memories
My November assignment for Crate Paper was to make a project about our fall memories. I chose a collage style to mix up some of my favorite pictures of the past couple of months. I made each square 2" x 2" which made it really easy to put together.
That is fun way of combining colour and textures into a page
November Prima Sketch Challenge
It’s November – strawberries are in season, the sun is (usually) out, the days are really long and best of all I get a whole day to myself. Many people are shy of celebrating their birthdays. Not me. Bring it, I say. November BAP is out at the Prima blog, such a gorgeous sketch I couldn’t wai...
Great pages, those fresh colors and patterns are so pretty together
March Inspiration
The reveal for the March kit, Inspiration, at Scrapbooking From The Inside Out is live today!! I love the colors in this kit because they are very rich and bold this month. Although, I was over at the SFTIO blog and noticed some of the other designers used the softer sides of the kit. I alway...
Thanks for sharing all the pics from the show, next best thing to being in the crowd is a blogger spotting the trends
Cosmoliciousness
more posts coming later!
Darling pocket creations, nice way of adding a decorative touch to corners of the house. Good question to ask too, pockets - where would we be without them.
Pocket Love
With the numerous projects ongoing and blasting from room to room in my home and studio I felt a yearning to stop the many tasks at hand and sew! Sewing has become a form of relaxation quite similar to writing for me and offers some down time from making and wrapping soap. I have been amused and...
Congrats to Robin and thanks for all the fun creative things you have going on in your blog space

Lucky you to get nature wandering about and to have a moment to appreciate the beauty.
Bittersweet Land
Saturday I began making linen Valentine hearts. While lying in bed an idea appeared once again! I'm going to incorporate the idea into my next design. We spent Sunday morning at my dads. It was his birthday and MJ prepared a lovely brunch for my family. Fresh fruit, French toast and egg dishe...
Thank you for that delightful post and sharing your card with us. It is so true, little messages of thanks or gratitude can make a difference to the people who add value to our day.
Thank you
I received this beautiful handmade thank you card the other day in the mail from my friends Deb and Zach. I was in awe as I looked at the colorful illustrations and sweet wording. Aren't thank you cards the best? What a special treat to receive one that someone made. Last night on the eveni...
Great post about the fun to be had in winter, love those snowberries
Snowberries
I know you've heard me talk about snow-berries before. They are one of the plants Lewis and Clark brought back to Thomas Jefferson while on their discovery travels. I was not familiar with the species until I saw a gathered bunch sitting on a shelf at an antique store several years ago. Julie...
Gorgeous, always look forward to the Gypsies release, thanks for sharing
Seven Gypsies - CHA Winter 2011 - Sneak Peek
Introducing... Lille from 7 Gypsies. This is one of the new (and my favorite!) collection from 7 Gypsies being released at CHA. I love this beautiful collection and am so excited to see it being released. Seven Gypsies product has a way of inspiring wanderlust in even the most staid homebody....
How cute! Like that attitude and style about Bottoms Up
SNOW DAY!
I had a great weekend antique shopping with Julie. We went to all the places I listed a few posts ago. I'm fastidious when it comes to my preference in antique shops. Fastidious, (love that word), in the fact that I prefer the different out of the ordinary shops and boutiques. I know immediately...
Very pretty, do you particpate in any of those decorating blog parties? Your ideas and themes are so thoughtfully presented.
changement
Yesterday while in the midst of creating new idees for "Botanical Blooms" I completely switched gears and began adding some changement to the home living quarters. Having your shop within your home sure does come in handy when you want to redecorate the part of the home you live in. I even dug i...
Great page full of colour and happy smiles, the world can get very B&W and all shades of grey sometimes, celebrating colours is much more fun.
A world of black and white.
I often wonder what I'm going to do for laughs when my kids grow up enough to stop wanting to talk to me. Paul and I sat after dinner watching Abby dance her way around the room to random 1990's videos - whatever happened to Nenah Cherry? - including her version of the newly popular shuffle dan...
