I've been painting...
I wish it was as much fun as painting some yummy colors on canvas and creating something cool, but it sure wasn't! I painted my bathtub! It was a bad shade of yellow...not even the buttery yellow it looks in the photo. I bought a tub painting kit at Lowe's and yesterday I finally tackled the job...

Every so often, I look at the tools I have in my stamp corner and wonder about new ways to use them. One tool that I have a bunch of are punches - I bet you have a few punches too. I have drawers and drawer of punches (I love punches!) and I use them frequently on my projects, but what about som...

Embellish It! Senior Challenge
Embellishments are the finishing touch that can bring a project from mediocre to amazing in just a matter of minutes, but they also can get to be expensive, especially some of the more intricate versions available on the market today. This month I have challenged the senior design team to take ...
Hi, thanks Elizabeth for the inspiration for others. I am a senior who has crocheted for years and I have an etsy store(karensneedle) with some crochet flowers and other embellies in it. I have tried and use several different types of fiber to create unique flowers and I do sell my flowers rather inexpensively depending on the design,the above comments re store are for those who do not crochet or do not want to take the time to crochet. I sell these to supplement my social security and to have extra $$$ for scrappy supplies. It is so much fun to create your own embellies. Thanks to all the gals who created great embellies and tutorials for this thread. BTW the tutorials are fantastic. Thanks again.

Patter: what a great idea, I took your idea and have used a photo alblum with sleeves and need to decorate the outside and then glue dot my stamps to the cardstock, I just wanted to see if they fit and they do. I do not have alot of stamps but love this for the clear ones I do have, i do not have any memory maker stamps yet.....
Fill Your Binder with {Clear Stamps}
So, did you finish your stamp binder? I hope you did. What size binder did you use? I know a lot of people use an 8 1/2 x 11 inch binder. I think my smaller one will work for me for now, and I am glad I could use a binder that was just sitting around. Here is my binder in case you missed it...
Patter a wonderful pick for the winner.
Congrats to you Peggy, I love your card. I just received some memory box papers so will be creating a card for one of the contests. I do not have any memory box stamps though, and I am not a good stamper so I tend to stay away from that, but love the job you did on this card, congrats once again.

Wooohooo! It's "Just Give Me Goodies" time!! (Oh, and I have a card to share with you as well.... :-) The idea for this card came just as soon as I received this set (Up, Up, & Away by Verve Stamps). I have a photo that has a large rainbow colored hot air balloon floating over a vineyard....
