i want to start off with a BIG WARM HUG to everyone who sent out a loving email to me in the past few days. it really meant alot. life has a funny way of turning your world around. i was sitting outside at a cafe early this evening writing postcards to friends when a woman walks up to me and starts speaking in french. i responded with "parlez vous anglais", she said if you want i can finish writing those for you and mail them if you like. it made me laugh and smile. she started in with where... sorry for not posting anything for the past couple days. i went to the musee lourve yesterday and was there for 4 hours. it was nothing short of amazing. will post pics soon. today i spent 6 hours at the flea market and i found soooooooooooooo many incredible things. i have everything laid out on beautiful pieces of fabric i found shopping and i have been sitting here admiring them all. i will take pictures tomorrow morning when the lighting is good. you will not believe how many pretty things i found. yesterday (monday) i went to the puces saint quen flea market in paris. though not as spectacular as the one i went to on sunday (marche puces vanves) i found a few beautiful pieces. i will try and take some photos later. my photo tent lamp i brought burned out the moment i plugged it in, i brought an extra bulb but same thing happened and now only have one lamp to use. i tried taking some new pictures but they came out terrible. i am hoping to find some fabulous piece of velvet at this coming flea market saturday... versailles palace was spectacular!! you can take pictures inside the palace , just no flash is allowed. that is why some pics do not look very clear-sharp. alot of the rooms were dim lighting to preserve the colors in the paintings fabrics etc. you could not believe all the beautiful colors. maries bedroom was so lovely. would love to have her bed!! everything about the palace took your breath away.
