International Award-Winning Contemporary Conceptual Artist, Christine Alfery's painting, Creative Contraptions was recently selected for inclusion in the 32nd Annual Northern National Art Competition. The judge for this competition is Scott Stulen, Director/President of Tulsa, Oklahoma's Philbrook Museum of Art. Scott chose 90 works of art from nearly 350 submissions - and those who were involved remarked on how difficult narrowing down those selections were, as all of the art submissions were 'absolutely stellar!' Christine Alfery, an International Award-Winning Conceptual Artist from Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin received some exciting news today when she was notified that her painting, Patchwork Fields, Machines and Critters was chosen for a purchase award in the new Marshfield Clinic Minocqua Hospital Project. The painting is currently being shown in the juried 'Culture and Agriculture' Exhibition at New Visions Gallery in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Christine Alfery has won the Board of Robert Burridge Experimental Acrylic/Mixed Media Ward in the 44th Annual Western Federation of Watercolor Societies' exhibit, held this month at the San Diego Watercolor Society.
