I'm here at the first ever Thirty-One Canadian Conference in Toronto, Ontario with 15 of my girls from my awesome team! Tonight we had a Team dinner and 10 of us were able to attend...I gave all my girls gifts and i am excited to share with you what I made... Well it has been crazy! The twins had their 13th Birthday, Wayne and I had our 23rd Anniversary, Kendall had a party, Wayne and I went to his Company party in Toronto, I went to London Sunday afternoon and rushed home to entertain a houseful of family SUnday evening...Thank goodness Monday was a holiday! So I worked on the Twin's Birthday cards last night and here is Skyler's card...he is an Angry Birds fan... I used the new Beyond Plaid stamp set on the front with Basic Gray ink... Saturday my twin babies turn 13! Yikes two more teenagers in the house!! Kendall has decided to have a party but not Skyler (he's too cool)...LOL! Kendall and 9 of her friends are going to a cooking class - Kendall loves to cook! So one of my downline showed me this awesome idea and we turned it into her Party Favours! We filled mason jars with candy - yum, minimally decorated them and attached an idea card to them that reads... Isn't that a neat idea? So what's neat about this technique? It's not new, it's actually years old but it's the new variation on the technique that's fun...in my card I have combined the old and new techniques together... let me explain...I stamped the images in white craft ink on black card stock (it must be black) and rubbed in, with my finger, coloured chalks into the craft ink...which makes them look like chalked images - previous to this we used Versa Mark which you can use too but you don't get a sharp chalk image...the key is to use some BLACK chalk around the...
