Decorating a cake for young children is an extremely stressful process for me. My idea of cake decorating is to top off with icing sugar!! That's as much as I can manage. So one fine day, when my friend from work Anna asked me to help with baking and designing 2 cakes for her twins' 2nd birthday party, I almost had a heart attack. So what I do is to use my favourite cake recipes and fill small paper cups with whatever mix I'm in the mood for. For me, chocolate cupcakes are still... Continue reading

I'm not a fan of lamb but when I had these lamp chops at Pietrasanta on Portsdown Road, I just couldn't wait to try making them at home. It's absolutely simple. Get the best lollipop lamb chops you can find and pan fry each side for no more than three minutes. I like the chops medium well and there is no need for any flavour enhancers. A dash of black pepper if you must. Otherwise, serve these straight with some English Mustard. Oh by the way, I get my supply of these succulent chops from The Butcher in Holland Village.
