Once in a while I go to a spot that just feels right. This past weekend, the last stop on our Dish Crawl was The Elroy. It's a spot that doesn't even officially open until July 3 (according to our super burgundy haired cool bartender whose name I cant recall). I recently hosted a brunch for my girlfriends. I'd just gotten a waffle iron, deep fryer, and Keurig (among other kitchen-y things) for a my birthday. I wasn't raised by women who wore make-up. I didn't discover the stuff until late in life. And I didn't develop any sincere interest until recently.
