I hate to be the one saying I told you so but J.R. Smith got the game I was looking for. I think he is good for one game and that should be it. The Lakers should feel good the rest of the series. They took all Denver had to give to so far and the series is at 2-2. The Nuggets, especially Jones, Martin and J.R. went a little overboard but this is playoff basketball. Lakers need to toughen it up. By the way, the worst play so far in the playoffs is still the Rafer Alston slap on Eddie House's head.

John, That's exactly what I was thinking after the game. I checked the box scores just to be sure. I can't find any line for Lakers that was better or worse than the Nuggets. I was just looking to see where the 3 point differential was that was the difference in the game. Anyways, good work on the blog and love listening to your show daily.

Hey John, I think the series is Lakers to lose. As I said before here, Nene is the X-factor for nuggets. The only guy I am worried or happy about depending on the type of night he is having is J.R.Smith. If his shots keep falling in, this will be a 7 game series. And you know, he already started jacking up the shots against the lakers before he boarded the plane in Denver. Personally, I like Billups and hope he wins another championship but I don't like the Lakers to lose.

All I can say about dealing with the present laker squad is to be patient. I think the Lakers will win Game 7 the same way they did Game 5. I also think that Nuggets-Lakers series will definitely be 6 games and probably 7 games. Will the lakers have enough gas for Cleveland?

Nice work John. I've heard a lot about Lakers flipping the switch the past few days on 710. I've been a fan of the pistons the past few years and I can tell from experience that flipping the switch can take you only so far. Sometime, it's too late to turn on the switch and realise that you've been robbed already. I am not worried about Lakers in this series.. Don't sleep on Denver though. How about Billups.. 7 straight conference finals. R.I.P. Chuck Daly

Hi John, Congrats!! you got your first hater on this blog. Who names himself as rocket balls?lol. Anyways, nothing to worry for Lakers. I am not upset. They will be fine. Did you know what happened between Kenyon Martin's mom and Cuban? Mohammed
Hey John, Good to see that you are catching up to the new generation with blogs and twitter. Interesting tweets during the game. As I am writing this, Carmelo hit a clutch 3 for Denver to give them the lead 106-105 with one sec to go. Dallas is claiming that he was fouled before the shot as they had a foul to give. If there was no foul to give, that would not have been called a foul at that point in the game 99% of the time. Can the refrees look for intent before calling a foul in that situation? Cuban and Howard were very livid after the game. Since I was a pistons fan, I love Billups and he is tearing up the Dallas defense. It is very interesting to know that both teams shot almost 80 free throws in this game. So much for Lakers-Rockets being physical. I still think Lakers will wrap up the series in 6 games. Denver will be rested and waiting. The X-factor for Denver will be the play of Nene. The only thing that will be a problem for the Lakers will be the shooting of J.R. Smith. Not that he is a great player but he absolutely has no conscience and will take any shot anytime. Someone on ESPN mentioned during game 2 that Smith starts shooting right when he parks his car. lol. If they start falling, it would tilt a game in favor of Denver. I still like the Lakers in 6 against Denver.
Hey John, Nice work on getting the plog out soon. I was glad that the game was on TNT, the best post game show. Ernie, Kenny and Charles were very funny and made sense. I had some comments that I will send an e-mail to you and Mason.
I think the Bulls-Celtics series is the best so far this year. I hate to say this (even though I am not rooting against bulls or celtics) but K.G. not playing in the series is making it very exciting to watch. I think if he was playing, Boston wins in 5 and the games wouldn't have been this close. Mohammed
