I found myself agreeing with each of your suggestions - and remembering times when each of those things payed off in a new acquaintance for me. thanks for posting - and reminding us again of what wonderful treasures our communities are!

Just darling! and I totally second the comment about wearing it into fall. it would be so sweet with a long-sleeve tee and leggings! the pattern would probably work with a light weight corduroy, too ..... oooo, the possibilities!

I finished the February Lady Day sweater in green just before Mother's Day - and we've been having cool and rainy weather since! Yes! I absolutely LOVE it (and am 8 1/2 months pregnant so it works great with the belly)!

What a great idea! I have quite a few white cloth napkins (so great that white matches white, makes it fun to find "new" ones at thrift stores) but have hesitated to use them because then I'd have to wash them for each meal. Thank you SO much for sharing!!!!

I was given that scooter when I was little, and it went through 5 kids. Such a great toy! Now I'm looking for one for my own baby .... :)

I agree about kids keeping themselves warm - sometimes it's as if they have different internal thermostats than adults and can tolerate things like splashing barefoot in icy puddles as long as they have a hat on. :)

What a sweet company! My mom used to order from a catalog like this when I was little. Sadly, the company went out of business long before I had little ones of my own. So happy to be introduced to I.C.!!!!!
