I think making something like this will really help me in my efforts to wean the family off of tissues. Plus I'll stop losing those handkerchiefs!!

Oh, it's BEAUTIFUL. She's a talented woman, that Liz. I'll have to get me one of her creations soon... just won a button giveaway of hers, lucky me! I seem to have lost your email address (doesn't come up on my comments) so can you email it to me, clutterpunk@gmail.com, and we can figure out time for a coffee. This week not so good, but after that is looking good. xx Gina

Lovely. Yes, those jackets do look cute, but I too have come to realise they just don't suit me - because I'm very busty. I did read that wide 3/4 sleaves over-emphasise a heavy chest, so what you did is perfect - I'm off to hack the puff-sleaves off a similar item now!

Thank you. I made brooches with the scrabble tiles and pinned them on - hook and eye underneath.

This wool jumper (sweater) started its life as a large men's turtleneck. After being shrunk and felted in a hot wash, it was chopped up and transformed into a vest and fingerless glove ensemble for my (tiny, skinny) friend and... Continue reading

Oh, and any chance you could pop up a tute about making flared pants? I checked out your inspiration tutorials but I too like a bit of flare... just not sure where to line the pants up to get the inner seams from the tshirt seams...

You could remove the sleeves and make a vest. Having said that the little sleeves are way too cute. Widen it if you want by replacing the zipper area with an interesting (and stretchy) crochet or lace or ribbon panel. Actually I like the bolero idea...

It's one thing to lounge around at home in the special new outfit that mama made. It's quite another thing to be forced to wear said outfit in public. My toddler reluctantly models striped fleece pant and tunic-style top. 'Pattern'... Continue reading
