Snowman Cube
SPOILER ALERT: This is one of the projects we'll be making at our stamping club next week. When I found these cute little note cubes, I knew I'd just have to use them in one of my workshop projects. The really cool part is that I didn't know until I set the finished cube into the base that t...
Hi Linda!
Only the sides are stamped. It's easier if you hold the sheets together with a rubber band when you stamp the sides. And don't push too hard.
Thanks for reading my blog. I'll be updating after the holidays. Merry Christmas!

Greetings, Earthling!
This is one of those stamp sets that I just had to have as soon as I saw it. In fact, it was on my first order from the 2009-10 Idea Book and Catalog. Of course, that was the easy part, figuring out how to use it was a little harder, but I think it turned out pretty cute, if I must say so myse...

Thanks for not giving up on me while I took a break from blogging the last week or so. I'm still super busy getting ready for Steve's big family party this weekend, so blogging will be sporadic for another week. Then things should settle down a little. In the meantime, I thought I'd try to post a few photos without doing the whole tutorial thing. I'll just list the supplies I used. I had the most wonderful surprise this weekend. My awesome niece, Mary, and her husband, Steve, came to visit us. Mary and I spent Saturday afternoon making Christmas... Continue reading

Christmas Swap Card
This is the card I sent to Dawn's Glitter Queen Swap this year. I wanted to wait until after the deadline for submitting them before posting the tutorial. Here are the supplies I used: Stamp sets: Lovely as a Tree, Pg. 110 #115026; Holiday Best, Level 1 Hostess Set, Pg. 13 #115364 Paper: Bri...
Thank you! I love retirement, but I was surprised to learn that I still don't have time to do everything I want to do.
Thanks for reading my blog. And enjoy your retirement!

November Thank You Cards
This month's thank you card is also my entry for the new Pals Paper Arts Christmas Cheer Challenge PPA16. I also tried a new technique for embossing the flap on the envelope, which I first saw on a Mary Fish's Curried Fresh-Cut Notes post. Here are the supplies I used: Stamp set: Holiday Bes...
Yep, you guessed it!
Christmas Calendar Card
I didn't invent the easel card, but I sure wish I had. It looks so complicated, but it's super easy to make. I guess the original concept was from Deborah March, but I found a great video tutorial at My Stampin' Dreams . I haven't seen anyone turn it into a calendar yet, so I guess that part ...
Relaxing is a lot harder than it sounds! LOL Thanks, buddy. See you next week.

Hi there!
It's never too late for a nice comment! LOL The treat cups can be purchased from the Holiday Mini-Catalog. You can find them buy clicking on the "Shop 24/7" button at the top of the page and then go to Holiday Mini Catalog. The treat cups are on Pg.7. Try this link: http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=116802.
There is a picture of the inside of the card about half-way down the tutorial.
Let me know if you have trouble ordering---I'm happy to help you out.
Good luck and thanks again for the nice comment!

Turkey Treats
How cute would this look on your Thanksgiving table? And the really good news is I created a little secret opening on the back of the Sweet Treat holder so your guests won't have to ruin the card to get them out. Here are the supplies I used: Stamp set: Falling Leaves, Pg. 27 #115368 Paper:...

I guess the original concept was from Deborah March, but I found a great video tutorial at My Stampin' Dreams . I haven't seen anyone turn it into a calendar yet, so I guess that part is sort of my own. Oh, and if you're wondering why it took me so long to post this article, it's because I made 40 of these puppies to send for Christmas cards this year. And no, I don't have too much... The swap is only for Dawn's downlines, but I'll try to share some of them with you with their permission, along with a tutorial for my own swap card. There are 19 downlines participating and I can't wait to get all of those cards in the mail! Can you tell this is the very first card swap I've ever done? There's something about this card that has that sort of old world-y Americana look to... Continue reading

Thank you! The color is actually Bermuda Bay.
Snow Bear Card
This card was inspired by those cute Coke commercials they always air during the holidays. I usually run out of the room during commercials, but I just love those cute polar bears. I guess those ad people know what they're doing! This is also my entry in the MOJO111 Challenge over at Mojo Mo...
