Just a thought. I understand why CHI would trade Wood for Revere. but would they include Castillo as well? That MAY make it more digestible. Cubs are going to sign Lester's caddy, David Ross. The only thing that makes me think this is purely speculation is that Revere is not the type of player Epstien/hoyer like. Ben is allergic to the walk

Since this is a celebration of days/people gone by, my old handle was Oogie Urbina. I prefer my real 1st name now. I actually thought the return for Fausto was better than today's. Windle probably won't see CBP unless he's on a tour. Eflin has 3-4 starter upside. Color me uninspired.

Orioles have actually inquired about Howard. Rube, dump him, pay 70 pct of his contract, throw Byrd in, and get 1b Christian Walker and some dude(s) then exhale.

Apparently Barnes plays 3 positions , lmao Versatility you KNOW Amaro just took him to the airport for the flight to Phila

Bap wouldn't mind the C Barnes I think he's the Marlins #15 rated prospect.

Bap i meant that LA would say no to Phils re: Heaneyy I Think Heaney is a stud prospect . Jus think Amaro gets the 2 worst players BTW Hernandez was part of pkg for Jared Cosart. Just a tidbit

Sooo Kike and Hatcher? They have the least value. LA needs the C prospect. No Heaney, no on Haren

Wow an innovative trade. I wonder which ones. OK bap, cue the "versatility comments for Kiki Hernandez. Another UTIL to platoon around the diamond. lol

Lee- great prospect two yrs ago w/ major regression since. I hope the other one is Urias (sarcasm)

Yea Juums I just looked u Hernandez. He's more along the lines of Bonifacio .

Juums-- part of deal w/ Dodgers netted them a 22 yr old 2B Enrique Hernandez. Very highly rated prospect in Astros system originally.

Wonder why we haven't heard the return for Jimmy yet. I guess they have to untie Rube's hands first.

Dee Gordonand Haren to Marlins for Heaney and unnamed others.

Juims-- Maybe the same "development" that helped Aumont, Biddle, and others with their command will do the same for (to) Rodriguez. Clout's correct. Ceiling us 5th starter, but most likely a LOOGY.

Horrible return for a guy (Bastardo) is an upgrade for Justin Wilson. remember when Pitt had to do sh**ty deals like this? Welcome to your bloated payroll small-market Phillies.

WP-- I'm ok w/ a fire sale. Having Amaro conduct it is like going alpine skiing with one pole. You're either dead or chasing your a$$.

Thanks for everything Jimmy, especially the predicted and subsequent 2007 crushing of the Mets.

What kind of prospect do we get for Rollins alone? According to Stark, Hamels deal lukewarm at best (paraphrasing).

Jbird- you typed the words right out of my mouth. A great haul would be Seeger, Pederson, plus SPs Jose DeLeon, and Carlos Frias

Ruben needs to "pull a Lester" by getting the Dodgers, Giants, and Red Sox locked in a hotel and get the best deal on the planet. No less than 2 of either teams' prospects w/ another grade B prospect. C'Mon Ruin!!

Giants, according to Stark, interested in dealing for Hamels. They have some good SP prospects.(Blackburn,Mella, Stratton, Blach) maybe look at Susac , too?

Clout- 630 OPS for a corner OF sucks. Why would we want that performance repeated? Might as well bring back your man-crush (Kendrick) so we can watch him regurgitate the same old results. This team is stale and getting more stale as time goes on.. Drek replacing drek.
