Hi Miss Krystal, When I was in elementary school, my 3rd grade class got penpals from all across the country. I loved it. We learned how to write letters, and I swear, I was in my element. A few years later, one of the nuns gave me her nephew's address.....he lived in India! I was so excited whenever I would receive a letter from him, and once he sent me a beautiful silk scarf. I miss letter-writing. E-mail is great because it's so quick, but I miss getting letters in the mail. But I guess everything changes, huh? Now I love writing to you and the girls here. It's fun, and it's a great way to talk about all of our "stuff." I can't talk to anyone else about Warty, so this is great. And all of you are so sweet and kind and understanding. It means so much. Thank you for your friendship. It's an honor having you as a "pen pal." (p.s.-- I agree about the phone, but the plane? I don't think so! LOL!) Hugs, Fran

Hi Jen, You should turn your article into a blog. It was a great story! I didn't know that Verbena could communicate with animals' guides as well as our own. Awesome! I might just have to call her about my chihuahua. I love that Bowie Stardust (what a cool name for such a cool cat!) chose you. That's what happened with a beautiful Abyssinian kitten that I used to have. We sort of picked each other, and he was the most loving, adorable, intelligent animal I have ever known. Are you feeling better? I am still planning on writing to you about my experience. It gives me the shivers just thinking about it. Talk to you soon! Hugs, Fran

Oh, and about the bunny.....she thinks she's one of the dogs, and they accept her as one of their own! She actually goes around chasing the chihuahua! Too funny....

Gotta say I LOVED this article! I have two dogs (and a bunny), and they aren't just pets, but members of the family. My cairn terrier is an old gal, and as sweet as pie. When I come home, and if she's out back, she's waiting for me on the deck, crying (whining, really) as if she's telling me, "I missed you soooo much....I'm sooooo happy you're home.....don't ever leave me again!" My chihuahua is a year and a half old, and she's a pistol! She's a small little thing, but she just doesn't know it. I think she thinks she's a doberman. But she's so cute when she wags her tail.....her entire backside wags along with it. She's exuberant, and loves to give kisses. All you have to do is ask, and she's more than willing to plant one on you. It's been said that God made dogs as a reflection of his love for us....and we all know that God spelled backwards is d.o.g. Hugs, Fran

Dear ST and Browneyes, Hi, girls. This is funny......we all seem to have the same feelings at around the same time. And I'm one to talk. Always saying we need to be more positive, think good thoughts, and then here I go wallowing in my own sorrow. I don't feel that much better today, either. Still kinda blue. I don't know....but sometimes I feel like the days are just speeding by, and I'm getting left on the side of the road. Even though I have communication with Warty, and I see him once or twice a week, nothing has changed, and I'm starting to wonder if it ever will. I've been told for so long now that we are going to be together, but so far, I don't see that happening. Not even a hint. I was doing so well, too. I was detaching and not thinking about the outcome. But now that the time frame for that outcome is here (I was told October by more than one), I can't help but think about it. And I can't help but think that I can't go on like this much longer. Sometimes I think I'm going to lose my mind. But what choice do I have? I know that I want him in my life, no matter what, and no matter how. I'm sorry. I don't mean to be a downer to all of you. I will work at bringing myself back to a better place, and try to remember what the psychics have told me. Love you guys.... Fran

Hi Cubes! How wonderful! So glad that you had a good time with Pokey. When he left your house, did you guys say anything about getting together again soon, or calling or anything like that? I know what you mean about how good it feels to just see him and to be near him. Forget about the "check in" today. I think we're ALL skipping the scale this morning. I was supposed to get back on track today -- didn't happen. I'm staring at a package of Ghirardelli Luxe Milk Almond chocolates. OMG!!! They look soooooo yummy!! Why did I buy them?? I know why. I want one!!! LOL! Oh well, there's always tomorrow... So happy for you! Love, Fran

Hi Suzan, How exciting! It's wonderful that your vacation was both exciting and enlightening. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I've discovered that for me, so many of the articles that are posted come at exactly the right moment. This was one of them. "Situations in your life that may seem so dramatic and unsolvable are lessons and very solvable." I'm going to take this as a message for me, too, and hopefully I can continue to learn and grow. Thank you! Hugs, Fran

Dear Sea Turtle, browneyes, Cubes, and anyone else playing the waiting game ~ A while back, I had a reading via email through someone recommended by a friend. I was reading through that email, and realized that it can pertain to ALL of us. I'd like to share some of it with you because it has helped me to change my perspective, and I think it can help you, too. *********** When we focus on why it has not happened, we bring about more delays. Focus on what you want. See it accomplished and see yourself looking back and smiling at how silly it was to doubt that it would. Imagine yourself together and doing things you both enjoy. So any moment you start thinking, "Oh, why isn't he in touch with me?" "why isn't it happening already?" "why can't he see that we are so right for each other?" replace this with "I believe that all is happening as it should," "I believe that he knows and feels this connection, too," "I believe that I deserve a fulfilling relationship and that it is possible for me to have one." Then do this visualization of the two of you together, happy enjoying time together, making dinner together, taking trips together, planning your activities. The Angels say that which you focus on expands. Focus on what you want and not on what you are frustrated, afraid of and displeased with. Try this every day upon arising and before falling asleep.

Hi ST, I caved and had 1 individually wrapped Dove candy morsel. But it satisfied my craving for melt-in-your-mouth yum. I hope that when we cross over to the other side, we can eat ALL of the chocolate we want and not have it go directly to our hips and thighs! Big Hugs, Fran

Hi Ariel, This article was just my "cup of tea!" A few months ago, I purchased a lovely tea cup and saucer made specifically for reading tea leaves. It's interesting because the inside of the cup contains pictures and the bottom of the cup is imprinted with symbols. The saucer also has symbols....the twelve signs of the zodiac. I haven't used it yet, but I sure would like to give it a try. Once, many years ago, my friend and I went to have our tea leaves read. It was fascinating. The tea room was warm and inviting, and the reader seemed very exotic. After reading my tea leaves, she told me that someone loved me very much, and he would love me for the rest of his life. I didn't understand at the time, because I wasn't involved with anyone. But now as I look back on that experience, I think she was talking about someone who is in my life now, 25 years later! Keep these wonderful articles coming!! ~Fran

Okay, time to cheer up!!! You lost 1.5 pounds....WAHOO!! Before you know it, you're going to reach your goal. I liked what you said about us feeling like butterflies. I love butterflies. I always take them as a sign from Spirit. You need to find a way to bring yourself out of your funk. Have you had a reading lately about these feelings you've been having? Have you asked why Chicken has pulled away? I know that you feel like you ruined everything with your impatience, but I don't want you to think that. Boy, you've got to believe me that I have been down there where you are....and it stinks. But I found a way to pull myself back up, and you can pull yourself up, too!!! I know you can! I wish we could all get together to talk about our feelings and help each other to get through this. Please don't be so down on yourself. I feel so sad that I can't be there for you to give you a hug. Please know that I'm sending you tons of hugs in spirit. Love, Fran

Hello, everyone... An old country preacher had a teenage son, and it was getting time the boy should give some thought to choosing a profession. Like many young Men his age, the boy didn't really know what he wanted to do, and he didn't seem too concerned about it. One day, while the boy was away at school, his father decided to try an experiment. He went into the boy's room and placed on his study table four objects. A Bible... A silver dollar... A bottle of whiskey... And a Playboy magazine... ”I'll just hide behind the door,” the old preacher said to himself. “When he comes home from school today, I'll see which object he picks up. If it's the Bible, he's going to be a preacher like me, and what a blessing that would be! If he picks up the dollar, he's going to be a business man, and that would be okay, too. But if he picks up the bottle, he's going to be a no-good drunken bum, and Lord, what a shame that would be. And worst of all, if he picks up that magazine he's going to be a skirt-chasing womanizer.” The old man waited anxiously, and soon heard his son's footsteps as he entered the house whistling and headed for his room. The boy tossed his books on the bed, and as he turned to leave the room he spotted the objects on the table. With curiosity in his eye, he walked over to inspect them. Finally, he picked up the Bible and placed it under his arm. He picked up the silver dollar and dropped it into his pocket. He uncorked the bottle and took a big drink, while he admired this month's centerfold. ”Lord have mercy,” the old preacher disgustedly whispered. “He's gonna run for Congress.”

Hi Sea Turtle, I'm glad you enjoyed your visit with your daughter. How did the open house go? And the subsequent dinner? Did your dinner date talk about more than real estate? I have to run but I'll write more in a little while. Glad you're back! Hugs, Fran

Hey girl! I know that you will find the happiness you're searching for. Whether it's with Chicken or another guy, your light will shine. You are such a fantastic woman, and I know that your dreams are going to come true. You're always in my thoughts and my prayers. Just keep concentrating on you, and the goals you've set for yourself. I'm glad you came up with this "challenge" that we're doing. It's good for all of us, on so many levels. Not only will we get rid of unwanted pounds, but it's helping us to shift the focus on US and not on THEM. Wish I was there with you.... Love, Fran

Dear Cubes, Sea Turtle, Browneyes and Gina Rose, Okay, here's my update. I had a couple of lapses at the beginning of the week, but by the end of the week, I had buckled down. Here's an example: I went to Octoberfest on Saturday evening, and I did not eat or drink anything. Afterwards, we went to dinner, and I had grilled halibut and a side salad. I guess it paid off, because I lost TWO pounds this morning!! I am so excited. I was afraid that the scale wasn't going to budge. This is big for me, because a couple of years ago, I lost 50 pounds, only to find them again. So now I'm basically starting all over from square one. But hey, 4 lbs is 4 lbs, and I'm happy. I hope everyone else is doing well. Cubes!! 5 pounds!! That's AWESOME!! Keep up (or down!) the good work! Love to you all, Fran

Hi RG, You are TOO funny! You have the most wonderful sense of humor. I love it! Okay, there will be NO eloping....I'm hoping to get an invitation if you and Dusty ever walk down the aisle! 50 first cousins?! OMG! That is going to be some wedding. Your poor sister must be going crazy right about now. How did she ever make up the seating chart? I hope she makes out in the "envelope" department! I've gotta run but will write more later. Have a beautiful day!! Hugs, Fran

Hi Red! Thank you for this great article. As a client, I know that many of us can become anxious when it comes to timelines. We just want the things predicted for us to HAPPEN already. But, I've embarked on the arduous journey of detaching from it. It's much easier to get through each day when you don't think of the "WHEN" so much. And....I've discovered for myself that I'm not anxious about it anymore. It's almost as if there's this newfound peace in my heart because I'm not focusing on a date anymore. It's still in the back of my mind, but I don't let it rule me. I'm more focused on the whole package....the end result....but without stress. A lot of this has to do with trust....trusting in the reading received, and trusting the Universe to follow through, if we just let it. Red, you're awesome! Thanks again. Hugs, Fran
