Aww! Thank you Liane!
Hi Danielle, Did you receive the bird template via your email? Let me know if you need me to send it again :) Blessings, Debbie
Hi Su, Glad you've enjoyed my tutorial :) When you print from an inkjet printer the ink will run when it gets wet. The Fixatif or hairstray will "fix" it to keep this from happening when you seal with Mod Podge. I hope that makes sense :) Have Fun! Blessings, Debbie
Hi Dave, Shower curtain rods are a great idea since they are really strong. If the sleave is sewn with only enough room to slip in the rod without any extra give it should fit snug. Also, make sure you have the rods positioned so that the fabric is pulled taunt without any play. Oh and I just had a thought...you could use some strong velcro to attach the fabric to the wall. I know this would not look so great when you remove your barriers for company, but I think it still beats those ugly plastic gates! I hope I've helped :)

Hi Lisa, I used about one and one half the width of my openings, but 90" for a 60" opening would work well. Have Fun! xo

Hi Tina! I just sent you an email with the attachment. Have Fun! xo
Hi Kate! Oh how exciting! I created this on a 10" x 10" canvas.
Hi Michelle! Make sure you don't overload the surface with DM or it will spill over the edge/es. I usually start by "outlining" the edges then filling in the middle until it's level. Also, make sure you keep it undisturbed on a level surface until dry! Handmade gifts are the best kind of gifts to give and receive! xo
hi Maia! I just sent you an email with the attachment...happy creating xo
Hi Penny, I used velum paper to print the Bible verse on. I sprayed it with fixative after I printed it to keep the ink from running. Hope this helps! Xo

Hi Kristina! Well, Chico has not even tried to jump over them or knock them down...at least yet! If he leaned on them with his paws, maybe it would knock it down? Not sure since at least the ones we have in our regular size doorways are pretty secure. It also depends on how much tension you allow. I have mine pretty tight. The problem we are having though is that he now keeps getting on the family room couch and the couch in our bedroom! UGH!! I'm trying to find a solution for that now. I keep telling my kids I can build him a really cool doghouse...outside! But that has not gone over too well...still in a pradicament with Mr. Chico! Blessings xo, Debbie

Thanks Kathy! Oh how I wish I knew how to reupholser something like a couch...I've only reupholsered chairs and foot stools. That's one of the things on my to-do list...maybe one day! I had this tutorial on one of my Pinterest boards. See what you think... http://whatthecraft.com/tutorial-how-to-design-and-sew-a-slipcover-part-1/ Blessings xo
