I was thinking of skipping the next ST movie(and as a lifelong long time fan of ST that was a big step). But BC whom I have adored as an actor since Anointment and Quinto together on screen is reason enough to reconsider.

Word!@ as someone who has been a BC fan long before Sherlock and who watched season one and waited for season two(long before he was named onto ST etc). I hate how short it is. And THERE better be more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! of course there has to be more LOL right?. It is a hit for PBS(gets better ratings than shows like White Collar and Madmen) so it better be back.

And here I felt he looked great and natural on SL and toned and don't care for the bulked up ugly American meatyfatty look here that is forced on males in the media here. And yes males get as much pressure as females do in America just society talks about more when it is females. Nature didn't intend men to look like they spend all day at the gym. Tone lean and healthy always look good to me.

eek damn gotta keep doing this while work LOL personally if I had to pick I would say Karl comes out of ST with the best bounce pre ST he wasn't the guy Hollywood came to as a leading man or a man for roles in decency movies. I once saw his name on a list of ugly actors we love who do junk movies(hurts my heart LOL). Yeah he may not be the one being called a star but ST changes how Hollywood sees him(I think and I hope). I like Zoe a lot and I am willing to give her the time to have a real career and not burn out like all the other names who come and go as instant big stars with one or two roles under their belt. I have no doubt she and Pine will do fine in the long haul.

Oh and I didn't say it LOL Hollywood insiders said it after Avatar and it has been wildly repeated after her star turn in Columbiana(SP). Which did respectable. I have no doubt she and Pine will get many chances at 'star turning' roles Avatar was not about her! Avatar was about the director and the nature of the movie. The same can be said of Hardy! who is about have a big hit in Batman but it isn't his hit it would be a big movie without him. Hollywood thinks he is a star on the rise and he will get other chances to prove it. Same can be said for Tatum Channing or Channing Tatum or whatever his name is LOL who is actually pulling out of the pack right now with some movies under belt that can be called his Star turns. Etc etc the list is goes on. That has nothing to do if I like or dislike said actor/actress just the way it is. No one came out of Star Trek and became a big star! Hollywood just wrote up PR saying two would, and they still may they just have not yet. It is early. Heck this time two years ago Bradley Cooper was supposed to be the next Hollywood God according to PR, then it was Ryan Gosling, soon it will be someone else. PR is PR not facts, LOL. Pine and Zoe have years ahead of them to become big stars. And I can't see right now Quinto and them having the same type of career, however unlike Hollywood I will wait and see what happens LOL.

No actually it wasn't Avatar was big due to the director no actor including the lead male has gotten a big career jump out of Avatar(you can check Man on the ledge and WOFT2 for more evidence) there is a difference between a huge MOVIE and an actor becoming huge I think we all know that. Avatar would have been big with any female in the lead that is not a Zoe knock it is just a statement of fact. She was also in death at a funeral does that mean it was her movie no. A hit for the actor is a 'role' one identities with said actor even if the movie isn't a big deal like Avatar. Avatar was a hit for two reason Cameron and 3D/computer generation. Everyone pretty much admits that. That is not saying she will not be a big star it is saying she isn't yet .

The idea would work if Quinto was going to be someone Hollywood sees as a mainstream leading man like Pine. That simply isn't so and leaking pics does nothing for that. Second it would work if Pine or Zoe had had big hits they have not, even Pine's big movie with Tom Hardy failed in a big why if anyone is coming into this with good news of an outside movie making it, it would be Quinto and Margin Call. So why wouldn't he just stick with what worked for him seeing as the whole mainstream thing isn't working so well for the others as yet. I think people are just lock into to thinking of Pine and Zoe as big stars because they were told to think so, with a lot of movie when in fact that simply didn't happened yet.

I got attacked around here for saying I was growing tired of these so called Star Trek fangurls who NOW that Quinto is playing Spock they want Spock weaken and needing to be saved by U and they want Kirk to suddenly be stronger than Spock and have all the big bad fighting scene. Utter BS and not who Spock was. Spock has always been harder to fight than Kirk, stronger than any human and yes the intellectual heart of the show
