It definitely does feel like the end of the "Google as thinktank" phase of the company. Do they worry about retention, I wonder? Or are they confident that they've made life comfortable enough for their engineers that they won't care about stuff like this.

I thought I saw a rumor about that somewhere, but since I can't remember the source. I think it would be a cool feature, but I don't know that Apple thinks they can sell enough MBAs to justify the investment of technical and business resources to make it happen. Unlike the ipod touch and ipad, the Macbook Air feels like a niche product.
