Today I got a package from the State of California with a few more items needed to complete my application. I sent an email to my provider for instructions, and I am wondering why anything was missing in the first place. I am grateful I don't have to try to figure out all the forms and applications. Okay, it's Monday, accountability day. So, how did we do this week? Hmmm, last Monday we were at 186.8 and now we are 187.4. This is the wrong direction. However, it's not all bad. I am trying to do this on my own, no medicine and stuff like before. I can do this. Last night had a great 30 minute walk, about 1 1/2 miles. This is what happens when the power goes out and work and the back up generators fail to kick in. I watched a comedy show (Jeff Dunham's Sparks of Insanity) while I had battery on my mac. The receptionist (Deby and Sylvia) sat outside talking and relaxing. Emelia and Angelica drove to juice shack to buy drinks (I didn't get one cause I'm trying to be good). And lastly I grabbed my yarn out of my car and started crocheting! It took just over 3 hours for the electricity to be restored. It was hard to get back into work... Continue reading
