Recently signed up for Lala and have been liking that. Going to have to checkout Grooveshark as well.
Pretty amazing to see Twitters influence at the games...athletes like Apollo and Bodie tweeting is just cool!

If you are looking to save $$ do yourself a favor and don't download the GiltGroup app. On the other hand, if you are looking to save $$ do yourself a favor and download the GiltGroup app. If you're a member you prob. know what I am talking about :-)
Im actually a pretty big fan of the old fashioned spreadsheet for managing certain expenses and purchase. It's a little weird to say it, but after having read this, using XLS makes me feel old school...
And don't forget to checkout the movie Up in the Air - I hear there are some great tips on which line you select for getting your bags scanned...
If you are looking to save $$, do not do as I have done and download the GiltGroup iPhone application. On the other hand, if you are looking to save $$, do as I have done and download the GiltGroup application. If you're a member, you know what I mean :-)
Hilarious. Lets see. Ramen Noodles is pretty obvious. I would also say hit salad bars and go deep on the free bread.

I mean does it get any better than the Nike / iPod integration...? You've got the app, the shoe integration, online community, and more. Pure gold!
I think I need that auto floor cleaner for my kitchen tiles. Jean, how much will it cost and can you hook me up with one?!

Must say that the Intuit Turbotax/Mint tax and money management suite is really empowering, effective and easy to use!
I haven't subscribed to cable in years. Im a huge user of Netflix streaming, and have recently been turned on to Hulu for the Charlie Rose show. There's an abundance of content outside the big channels -- A big oppty for someone to step in and curate..
OMG that football cornucopia is awesome

Unreal to me that you can't officially stream the superbowl online. I would bet that some crafty hacker will setup a stream though - the day of the show do a twitter search for superbowl streaming and see what comes up!
I highly recommend Things for Mac. It's simple and lightweight enough to be effective over the long term. And there's also an iPhone app that syncs with your desktop client (though they've still got some kinks to workout with this -- it should be in the cloud). With task lists, you don't want to become a slave to the system!

And for people like me who appreciate the idea of giving a handmade gift, but lack the skilset and time to do so, checkout Etsy.com for handmade gifts (that just happen to be made by someone else)!

Love this concept and will be interested to see if it works with oil as well. Also my family has great success with the in-oven digital thermometers for cooking things like that xmas goose...you set the desired temp and it beeps you when close. Pretty slick but a little pricey - I still rock the old-skool instant kind :-)
