My favorite verse of all time: These here's the dog years and motherfuckers don't shed I try to bring you life but motherfuckers want dead So I travel with the barrel, with the chrome, with the lead 'Cause when it's on then it's on, the shots flowin' through your head I been rich, I been poor, I saved and blown bread Some say I been here before because of the way I zone Some said, Jigga zone is like the fallin' of Rome Reoccurring, that he thinks like that 'cause he's observing Won't be known until I'm gone and niggaz study my bones Mentally been many places, but I'm Brooklyn's own In the physical, one seems, like a lost body In fact my thoughts don't differ much from that of God body But it's the odd shottie that got cats, likening me To the mob John Gotti rap dudes bitin' me 'cause I got it locked like the late Bob Marley Pardon me y'all, the great Bob Marley Solemnly we mourn, all the rappers that's gone Niggaz that got killed in the field and all the babies born Know they ain't fully prepared for this new world order So I keep it ghetto like sunflower seeds and quarter waters You walk 'em through it, you know, talk 'em through it Know these beads is more than music whenever I talk to it Destined for greatness and y'all knew this when I doubled the pie Had a shorty in a girdle comin' out of BWI I hated algebra but I loved to multiply And I told my nigga Big I'd be multi before I die It's gonna happen whether rappin' or clappin' have it your way 'Cause if that's my dough you're trappin', I'm clappin' your way

I hit em with some blueprint. "I ball for real, yall niggas is Sam Bowie" "Yeah, I know you shine but the only thing you leaving out/You're a candle in the sun/That don't even out."

Come now, Qwert, really? You know that Christ will return before one of those cats can match you bar for bar with Jay vs. Wayne verses. I coach track in high school. Me and these kids have these talks all of the time. They give me one verse from Drake and maybe three from wayne. I didn't even give them verses. I gave them two metaphors and told them to go home and research. They came back the next day fans of Jigga.

That was the realest statement ever. Our generation, dudes was really robbing cats. I rememeber I jacked a kid for his Miami Hurricanes starter jacket and threw it behind the bleachers when it didn't fit. Nowadays, these rappers arent really real. But they are talking about things that they ought not too. They should use their influence to better the community. What if little Wayne said Jesus Christ is his Lord and saviour and everyone should repent of their sins and be baptized? Man the churches would be filled that next Sunday.

Thats ill. Me and my wife are the same way. It is sad. I almost feel like black unity died along with Dr. King and Malcom X. Men aren't being raised to love a woman truly. They focus on sex, and in doing so, they abuse a womans natural need for connection to a male. Then when a child is born he is nowhere to be found. Now the child is raised in an unbalanced environment. The world is hard, how can a woman raise a balanced child and keep food on the table. So she does the best she can. Meanwhile the child has more influence from his/her environment that is crashing around them. That is why the church has got to step up. There are enough good fathers in the church to be involved in these kids lives, so that when mama is at work, someone can help them with homework, show up for parent teacher conferences, and teach a kid to pitch and kick at a ball. Without it, our race is dying quickly. Then, alot of women turn to white guys or even women for companionship, and its said, but everyone just wants to be loved, so they try and find it wherever they can.

Man, first. Bless you and yours. I am sorry for your loss. God will find you in his time and open your eyes. I am 32 and hip hop is like a breath of fresh air. If you don't mind, email me your cell phone number so that I can keep in contact with you and pray with you. Times are hard. Like Jay said on "Where I'm From" niggas have lost Jehova in place of rap lords. Where has the church been for us? Well, outside of the organizational walls, the church resides in us. If you allow me, I would love to pray with you, and maybe you and I can strengthen each other. email: [email protected]

well, you do load clips into a ruger. And after you shoot through a few of them. your target will most likely be dead, hence the need for the casket and flower baskets.

Not to mention, I honestly wonder if the level of ignorance posted here is a snap shot of black society as a whole today. If so, the level of education, unity, and spirituality amongst our people as all but disappeared. The unemployment rate is 10% and we consist of a vast majority of that percentage. But instead of placing our attention as a collective on education, we'd rather fantasize about blacks that already made it up in the world, tearing each other apart. And the sad thing is, its amusing to us. Dang, crabs in a barrell.

See, a perfect example of intelligence in the hip hop community despite what the ignorant posts that are made in response. The clipse approached this situation intelligently and understood that Jay wouldnt diss them. Especially since he is tight with Pharell. Sounds to me like some ignorant fans reaching.

No one cared before Blueprint 3. Everyone and their mothers said that Jay was finished. Where was Sigel, Freeway, 50 Cent before Blueprint 3. This situation with Freeway over that video was a while ago, he could have gone on the airways calling Jayz all kinds of things. So could Sigel, and so could Freeway. The fact is that Blueprint 3 reintroduced Jay to the mainstream. And they all want a piece of his coattail. 50 and Sigle look dumber and dumber with every interview and every diss record. Kind of reminds me of when Ja Rule was all over the airways talking greazy about 50 Cent in an effort to discredit him. Did it work? What goes around comes around.

50 is now the wanksta. Is star has long begun to fade. Now that fade is accelerating. Gunit clothing has fallen off. None of his artists are selling, and now you can't even count on him to hold his own label down. So next to go may be Gunit records. Maybe they will go to Koch. 50 is not putting out a lucrative product other than vitamin water. He is really starting to look like Master P now. Yeah, P still has dough. And he has found a new way, away from thuggin to make money, he was smart enough to change his image. 50 is on ship that is sinking quickly. You will see more and more flops from his crew and his business ventures. He knows it, that is why he is talking so much junk. He is afraid that he is about to lose his lable. That is quite possible when he cannot hold his label down by himself. Gunit records is dead weight. The industry doesnt waste money. That is why they need Jay to respond to Sigel. I predict that if Jay doesnt respond, sigel doesnt get signed. If he does respond, sigel get signed within the day. Because he will be another dead weight artist. Gunit needs Jayz to rebrand itself.

If you own a business. You sell a great product. You need employees, insurance, liability insurance, bonus money, etc. The pay structure will normally break down with you making the most due to it being your company and your pay rate for being the owner/manager. Now the value of your employee will be by certain labor categories. So, what you do is pay them part of that rate from that labor category, and the rest goes to the company for profit and pay raise money. Employees are given the documents that states all of this up front. They sign for a certain amount of money. Let say that you and employee B become best friends. But employee B does something that could potentially cause you to lose one of your biggest clients. Do you A.) keep him and lose the client, potentially going out of business, which means you no longer eat B.)Put him on probation and work with him to straighten his stuff out, and promise the client that he will change, which means if he doesn't change, you still lose the client, C.) Walk him right out the door after either A or B occur. So here is the question, will you still be paying employee B a salary with benefits after all of this has gone down and he has been let go? Do you still want to keep him around your company? Jay gave Sigel like 400k when he signed him in advance money, according to Federal documents, he did horrible things with that dough. 400k can get invested and gain interest. 400k can start other investment ventures. And Freeway is a company man, if the company goes bottoms up, you are SOL, off course the owner is going to eat. Yall were employees first, then friends. Me and my boss are great friends. But he let me know real quick where I stood when I challenged him in a meeting.

It is interesting that Beans is from Philly because this whole ordeal reminds me of Rocky V. Jay is Rocky. Beans is the young protege. And 50 Cent is Mr. Duke the promoter with bad intentions. It all sucks. When you take your brother out to the back yard like Beans initially stated, you speak your peace, throw whatever blows his way, then yall laugh and drink a brew after it. What he is doing is monetarily motivated. 50 Cent is pulling Beans strings to bait Jay to respond. And now Nas, wow. Two niggas that 50 Cent is utterly jealous of because he will never equal them. Empire State of Mind remix will be hot. I doubt that it will even throw a subliminal their way. It sad, but their silence is killing there careers.

I respect you very much, so don't take my opinion in offense. But first, BHop is not a credible source. Though he is one of the greatest, he is disillusioned when it comes to his own interests. Two, Eric B is someone with knowledge of the workings of music and artists. His explanation was very good. After Lil Mama jumped on stage, it showed how easily other artists can get access to performers. So of course security is going to be weary of that, and especially when someone who allegedly jumped out of an SVU and shot someone in plain sight, is nearby. Did they see Jay on the phone communicating with the cops to remove sigel? No. Did they see Jay motion to a cop? No. Local law enforcement has a long rap sheet on sigel. Believe me, he will always be the first dude that they search and remove. Also, his cases ended in hung jury. So the FEDS searched him to have another reason to put him away. It is kind of like arresting a mobster on tax ivasion charges. Sure it doesnt seem like much, but it gets them off of the streets. Eric B was real sensible. We should be the same. Irationality is ignorance. Niggas, have to rise above that. If you were hired to protect a superstar, and Lil Mama had already proven that someone can just jump on stage if they are celebrities and stand beside the person that you are paid to protect, would you not eliminate ANY possible threat to keep your mark safe?

A Jay response will make this them legitimate. 50 Cent has run his course. His music has not progressed since GRDT. Music is about a snap shot of life in progression as an artists grows. That is why the first albums are always so soulful. It is where artists are at the time. It is believable. 50 is not killing anyone, nor will he. He has too much to lose. So rapping about letting his gun go off is making him a Wanksta because he aint poppin nothing. Album after album, it is the same thing. Jay, Nas, Alicia Keys, Mary J, they are beyond just hip hop, they are progressing music as an art form. 50 is trying to sell the streets. The problem is that not many people sell dope just to be selling dope. There is a goal involved. That goal is generally targeted at getting themselves out of their current situation to a better one. By the way, I am in the south. There was a time when a large portion of his audience was from down here. Many of these cats swear by Ross. Beefing with him doesn't help your situation. If the south leaves you, then you are just an average artist sales wise.

50 had the ability to put his team on and them sell heavy in 2003. He doesn't have that effect now. He is trying to rejuvinate Gunit by signing Sigel to beef with the hottest nigga out. He always has something to say about Kanye and Lil Wayne because they are all hot and his sales first week wise are going in a negative direction. This next album isnt going to give him the expected results. He is fighting to stay relevant. The worse thing for Beanie Sigle right now is silence from Jay. If I were Jay, I would confess everything to Beyonce that he hasnt already done, and keep on moving. Sigle will be begging him for a deal in a few years.

The Nation of Naslam is thick these days. It is either two sides. If you sell big, you are relevant with the likes of Wayne and Souljah boy. If you don't sell, you are irrelelvant like most of the niggas that get dropped off of their labels for not making radio singles. I suggest that you all realize that what we love as hip hop is almost an endangered species. Jay and Nas are one of the few left. Where has hip hop for the streets gotten 98% of these rappers signed? Right back in the hood from whence they came. Let Jay and even Nas have there radio singles, it will help them sell and keep them relevant as some of the Last Suvivors of a dying breed. Believe me, BP3 will have music for everyone. More MC's need to follow the Blueprint and change there approach. Life is about progress. If you want to remain broke, keep releasing music for just US. If you wanna get paid, relase music for EVERYONE.

The video is hot. Jay is accomplishing what he wants. I hate the song but the video gives me an idea of where he is trying to go. Revolution is needed for us hip hoppers to unite and rise up against the current climate. This video is a continuation of DOA to me. DOA sparks the revolution. This song exemplifies the coming together of the hip hoppers. It probably won't happen because most Nas fans hate Jay eventhough they no longer hate each other. Right about now, we need to get behind Jay, J. Cole, Nas, Young Chris, Slaughter House, and any other hip hoppers that are doing it. REVOLUTION
