Have you seen our Dots and Spots die? Stampin Up just added it as a free option for a $100 order for August, the final month of Sale A Bration! I paired the die with our new In Colors in the card below. I love how bright and vibrant they are! This card just made me smile when I was done creating it because I just love how fun the die cut dots are with the bright colors. They really "pop" with the Black behind it. I used Celebrate You Stamp set for my greeting. It is a great set... Continue reading

My favorite Hostess item from our catalog is Pattern Paper. You get 48 12x12 designer series paper for $18 when you have $150 in orders. This is a fantastic deal, and I really like these papers! The catalog is almost over, so I wanted to show a way to use up some of your designer series paper. Cut your designer series paper 4" x 12" that way you get 3 cards for each designer series paper. Score at 1" and 6 1/2" Cut a coordinating colored piece of card stock 3/4" x 4" to adhere where you fold back the... Continue reading

As demonstrators we get a catalog early, and can order some of the items ahead of time. The bundle I wanted is shown on the front cover of our new catalog. The Stamp set is called Happiness Abounds, and it has many great greetings and flowers in it. The Dies are called Blossoming Happiness. The Glossy Dots are fun colors and are great to add to cards. I made two cards to showcase the bundle. This first card shows the Glossy dots and the detail of the dies. You can see the detail the intricate die gives. It cuts and... Continue reading

This Saturday, April 9th is my 25th Stamping Anniversary! I was fresh out of college and living in a new state with my husband who was in medical school. I didn't know anyone or have a teaching job yet. My mother in law went to a Stampin Up party in MN and called to tell me that I should sign up to sell it. Money was tight for me and my mother in law said if I don't like it and didn't make any money she would reimburse me for the starter kit, so I thought why not! I called... Continue reading

I received Amazing Silhouettes as a gift from Stampin Up. I didn't use it for awhile, and I am glad I finally opened it up! You can make such nice cards in no time at all! I really like our Soft Succulent color. It is part of the 2021-2023 In Colors. I was glad to see they are keeping the In Color ribbon in the next catalog too! Two of the items on this card are retiring. Create With Friends, and the Tasteful Textile Embossing folder. I made a video to show how you can make this card in less... Continue reading

I own 2 so I can run 2 through at the same time. I put together a list of my favorite retiring things to make sure you see them. Several are on sale. They are all available while supplies last, so order soon! Product List Tasteful Labels Dies [152886] $31.00 Stitched So Sweetly Dies [151690] $32.00 In Good Taste Designer Series Paper... Read to the bottom to see about a giveaway! I ordered the Picture This dies awhile ago but hadn't opened them until yesterday. I was inspired by the card in the Sale-A-Bration brochure. I combined the Awesome Otters stamp set and Simply Marbleous 6x6 Designer Series Paper and the Picture This dies. I embossed the Balmy Blue piece using our Bark Embossing Folder. I then used the Cut and Emboss machine again to die cut the circles from Picture This. I used the same circles and die cut white circles to stamp on. This video shows you how simple this... Who would of thought I would ever want an Otter stamp set! Our Sale-A-Bration brochure has a stamp set titled Awesome Otters. It is pretty cute! I wanted to design a card that used the otter set and another Sale-A-Bration item Simply Marbleous 6x6 designer series paper. To start I took a piece of the designer series paper (DSP) and cut it to 3" x 4". Use a marker to color the water on the stamp. Stamp it on the bottom left side. For the otter I stamped in black on a scrap or Basic White and colored it in... Continue reading

Sale-A-Bration has begun and there are some great choices for free items! This card showcases two of the $50 options. Driving By Stamp Set, and Sunshine and Rainbows designer series paper. Isn't the Sunshine and Rainbows designer series paper so cute? I had a lot of 1/2" strips from mailing pieces to my team members, so I took them and trimmed them to 4". I cut a piece of Basic White to 4" x 3 1/2. To adhere the strips I put Adhesive down the left, middle and right side of the Basic White piece and then layered the strips... Continue reading

Merry Christmas! I hope you are having a wonderful day celebrating the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ. This is the card I created for this year. I love Christmas Carols, so when I saw the embossing folder in our mini catalog, I had to get it. It goes perfectly with the For Unto Us stamp set. I make 270 cards and the Take Your Pick tool makes adding rhinestones so easy! Here is a quick video that shows how quickly you can put 5 rhinestones on your card. These are the products I used to make this card. Some... Continue reading

This month i have challenged my team to send 30 Thank You cards in 30 days. The idea is to thank people for being a part of your life. There are many people we come across each day, and we can take time to thank them and be an encouragement to them. I cut 2 pieces of 12 x 12 designer series paper to 3 x 3 so I get 24 total squares. I then cut 3 1/2" x 3 1/4" Cajun Craze card stock to adhere the designer series paper to. The strip is 5 1/4 x 1 1/2."... Continue reading

I like to give gift cards at Christmas. This gift card holder is a nice quick one that you make out of an envelope! To make this start with a medium envelope and fold in 1/2. Open it and cut the flap up the middle. Cut off the right flap. Seal the left Flap. Cut 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper 4 1/8 x 2 5/8. Cut a coordinating color of card stock 4 1/8 x 2 5/8. Adhere one piece of designer series paper to the front, and the other to the inside on the left. Stamp the greeting... Continue reading

Delicate Dahlias is free with a $100 order right now through the end of the month. I love the detail on it as well as the greetings. It is a 2 step stamp, so you use either a lighter pad first, and then a darker color for the more detailed stamp. You can also use the same pad, just stamp on a scrap piece first to get some of the color off, and then stamp on your card. For the detailed impression, don't stamp off first, just stamp directly on the card. tams# 64130 Product List Delicate Dahlias Photopolymer Stamp... Continue reading

Good Morning! My friend Pat McGillicuddy designed this card as a possibility for my Stamps In The Mail. I loved it so we are making them this month. Our Basic Borders dies have a nice variety of borders, and the cloud is one of them. I like the stitching each of the dies has along the edge. I used thick basic white card stock so the card base is thicker. Fold Card in ½. Open up and die cut clouds towards the top. Stamp Greeting on the top right. On a ¼ sheet of white and sponge blue for the... Continue reading

I just got our Basic Borders dies and I really like them! If you have A Stampin Cut and Emboss machine, you should add these to your wish list! I also used Artistic dies as well for the leaves. For this die, I run it through a few times to get a good cut. I made a video to show you how to make the zigzag. Die cut the zigzag near the left folded edge. Trim the straight edge ¼ inch on the piece you cut off of the card front. Stamp the greeting on the right corner. Die cut... Continue reading

The Suit and Tie dies are so fun to work with. I made a card for my husband and for my dad using them for Father's Day. Unfortunately the Well Suited designer series paper has sold out. There are many other designer series paper you can use, or you can make your own patterns with the stamps. If you look closely you can see I added texture to the suit using our Tasteful Texture embossing folder. Also look at the detail to the buttons. I like how the die cuts 6 buttons at a time. For the Inside, I used... Continue reading

Today is our daughter's 20th birthday, which is her golden birthday. What better Designer Series Paper to use than Artistically Inked! I love the gold that is in the paper. One side of each of the sheets had gold foil worked into it. Here is a closer picture that shows the gold a little better. I cut apart the large die with leaves, and tucked it behind the flowers. I am using retired number dies for this card. I keep very few dies once they retire, but these I have used a lot! The Mini Dimensionals are perfect for pieces... Continue reading

When I saw the cover of our new catalog, I knew I wanted the stamp set that was on the front. Artistically Inked and Artistic Dies are a fun addition to my stamp collection. This is the first card I have made with the bundle. The dies and the stamps make it easy to create cards with this set. Card Base is 4 1/4 x 10 scored at 5 1/2" White front piece is 4x 3 7/8 White inside piece is 4X 5 1/4" I made a video showing how to make this card. TIP: When using the large die... Continue reading

Our Hand Penned Designer Series Paper has been quite popular. I ordered the paper right away and this is the first card I have made with it. I chose to use Highland Heather for the base of the card because I wanted to use our new Highland Heather 1/2" ribbon. It has some shimmer to it. I cut the Designer Series paper is 1 1/2" x 3". I chose to show 3 different pieces. There are so many great designs to choose from. tams# 60165 Product List Hand Penned 12" X 12" (30.5 X 30.5 Cm) Designer Series Paper [155499]... Continue reading

I recently made a card for one of my demonstrators who is celebrating her 10th Stampin Up Anniversary. 10 years ago at Stampin Up's Leadership conference, they gave us all a free starter kit to give to one person who we thought would like to start a business. I chose Sue, a longtime customer. I have always been curious how many of those who were given a free kit are still a demonstrator 10 years later. Sue has done a great job running her business and it has been fun to watch it grow! I made this card for her... Continue reading

Today we celebrated my niece's 7th birthday. I made her this card using our Oh So Ombre designer series paper stack that is free with a $50 order through the end of February. I used my very favorite die set, Tasteful Labels Dies. It is so versatile, I use it all the time. I the used my Take Your Pick tool to pick up the pearls from the sheet the come on and put them in place to create a 7. It would have been much harder to make the straight lines with out the Take Your Pick tool. It... Continue reading
