Good deck, but the freemium conversion numbers on the last slide are simply wrong. eFax's conversion numbers are a tenth of that figure -- the author is confusing the ratio of # free/ # paid with conversion. The vast majority of eFax paid customers (90%) do NOT convert via freemium. This is clear if you dig into their published metrics. I made the same mistake. Also, I highly doubt the Ning numbers. If their conversion was 3%, there is no way they would have abandoned the free model this week -- it would be far too strong of a lead source.
