Re-entry
We've just gotten home from a sunny, wonderful week in Palm Springs. This was my morning routine: a cuppa joe, my journal, and a good book on our deck. Bliss. Back on the homefront, the rain is beating a steady rhythm on the windowpanes. It's 52 degrees. After a week in 80 degree weather...

Home Sweet Home
Rested after a week in sunny Puerto Vallarta with my family. No sunburn. Faced my fears and did a tour which featured zip lines and rappelling down a 75 foot waterfall. Great food and family time. Good to be home, but now face loads of laundry, piles of mail, 268 emails to sort thru and 424...

A time for gratitude
As the calendar turns over to November - it always reminds me how much I adore this time of year. Getting snuggled in for the winter season. New flannel pj's. Stocking the pantry for sweet and savory oven-baked recipes. Sipping a steaming mug of chider ( 1/2 double spice chai tea 1/2 apple cider ) that my lovely friend, Lisa introduced me to! And, looking forward to my favorite holiday of all - Thanksgiving Day. Food. Friends. Family. Spending quiet moments in gratitude for the abundant blessings in my life. Continue reading

My Problem
All year long I buy Christmas ornaments to use during the holidays to make my wreaths and other holiday goodies. I am oblivious to how many ornaments I am accumulating as I just keep popping them into a corner of my attic. Once a year I pull them out to organize them....it is then that I realiz...
