1. "Moderate Muslims" still have a vestige of humanity 2. Al-Qaradawi's language is reminiscent of the exemption clauses for abortion. Under the analog, Hillary and Barak Hussein Obama (peace be upon them both), create legal loopholes big enough to drive an 18-wheeled scalpel through. Like Al-Qaradawi's offensive jihad, Hillary and Hussein commit a legal jihad in order to invade the womb and dismember the occupant. But like the main of those who call themselves "Muslim," the main of the US still has a vestige of humanity too.
jj, really appreciated the remarks i called his family, told them what i was gonna do (didn't ask, just told 'em), and called his shrink, and i told the shrink, he's got a weapon, and he is fruit loops. (a technical term one picks up in law practice.) the shrink called him. and said, [you're here]... in 1/2 hour, or the mental health guys are coming to get you on my medical directive per the statute. kapish. he went to see him.My friend, you did something beautiful there. Friends don't let friends betray their wives and kids--let alone their God--without a fight. jj, you stood up and embraced "Nature and Nature's God." T'was a sign of greatness. Nothing less. Atta boy!
Love the discussion of "good and evil." Rand was profound. Palin's No one should be deterred from speaking up and speaking out in peaceful dissent, and we certainly must not be deterred by those who embrace evil and call it good. And we will not be stopped from celebrating the greatness of our country and our foundational freedoms by those who mock its greatness by being intolerant of differing opinion and seeking to muzzle dissent with shrill cries of imagined insultswas good. In contrast, the democrats are afraid to discuss good and evil. They only stand for evil: rationing of health care, aborting innocent children, stealing from the virtuous, spurning the God who gives them inaleinable rights. Thanks Pamela for another great article.
Hello friend, "an imprecation"? So this is a lamantation that there are no American national political leaders, who, for example, might question the wisdom of granting 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status to an ostensibly religious organization which seeks to impose the Jizya tax "to make them feel oppressed"? And that such a "religious" objective is incompatible with the "self evident" religious notions in The Declaration where it is known that "all men are created equal"? There are just the bloggers. And soon, Alan West.

Good defense Majumder, But peeling back the cover of recent American political betrayers, one sees in The Declaration the "self evident" truths that "all men are created equal." This is antithetical with Islam's rape of kafir sanction (Koran 4:3,24) and Jizya tax sanction (Koran 9:29). While not one nationally elected Republican or Democrat has articulated such a policy, Lt. Col. Allen West could be the exception this November. It would be poetic for a black American--and not a "black" Marxist--to lead the way. Just as Italians know--thanks to the Mafia--something about the difference between organized crime and religion, so Americans know--thanks to The Declaration--something about the same. America's virtue lies in her Declaration and in her grass roots. Not in her politicians. There is still hope for the land of the free.
hi john, i'm not looking to bring you down, but up;) I just think that Rifqa had a lot of needless stress because of the backseat lawyering and pot shots. It was a difficult situation, for all of us. Perhaps part of the blame should be on the secrecy of the case. best to you, kafirman

I'm a proud financial and prayerful supporter of this. But shouldn't the signs say, "'Honor' killing victim"? Do we not tacitly accept the perversity of Islam when we fail to incorporate quotes about "honor"?
Hey Pamela and john jay, Didn't you two say you would gladly eat crow were this to occur? ;)

Was Rifqa's legal team totally incompetent? I'm not convinced. If we agree that the objective was Rifqa's safety--and not a ruling against Islam-then it seems we have success. On Tuesday can we expect information about Rifqa's health etc... to flow freely?

Pamela has got too much knowledge to be corralled by the dhimmis and Muslims. She has reached the dangerous level of knowledge of Islam. Bravo. Your retort of RT's missing discussion of South Park's having Jesus do cocaine was spontaneous splendor. Excellent! Your observation was met with silence.
Just because organized crime cloaks itself with the veneer of religion, does not a religion make. Islam is not capatible with the "self evident" religious principles of America's founding including the idea that all men are political equals under law. The American Creator-God is politically incompatible with the Islamic creator-god.
This article needs a connection to Congressman John Carter. At least a by-line.
See no Islamic evil, hear no Islamic evil, speak no Islamic evil.
The ACLU goes full hog with the Stop the Christian acknowledgement Of America and this is a non-event. Is the US founding so vacuous and vague as to accept any non-terror ideology from being subject to the First Admendment? Does "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" apply exclusively to Islam? Does Lexis/Nexis count more than the Koran? It the argument for a kind Islam on the basis of 1. The mainstream media characterizes Islam this way 2. Therefore Islam is in accordance with the MSM? What does the mainstream media stay about the popular support for bin Laden in Islamic countries? What does the mainstream media stay about the popular support for the Jews being decendents of pigs and monkeys in Islamic countries?

IS Vote NO on Dr. Parvez Ahmed nomination for the Jacksonville Human Rights Commission SHOULD BE Vote NO on the Dr. Parvez Ahmed nomination for the Jacksonville Human Rights Commission NO?
Pamela, We need less heat and more light. When Stemberger writes, "Jamal Javanjee and Pamela Geller are not trusted or accurate sources of information on Rifqa Bary and her case" he is not referring to "[Rifqa's] beatings, the immigration papers, the indigency, the book deal he negotiated...," he is referring to the proper legal strategy of defending Rifqa. Has Stemberger denied "[Rifqa's] beatings, the immigration papers, the indigency, the book deal he negotiated..." ? Your ridiculous phantom boxing is not helping Rifqa. What is the point of your rediculous link to Spencer's article which communicates no more information than Jamal's letter (already contained here)? I think Pamela has a problem with Stemberger precisely because Pamela's leftism has supported Rifqa's precarious legal situation. Pamela needs to read "Godless" by Ann Coulter and see how Pamela's support for abortion and evolutionism undermines the essential American foundation of equality and unaleinable rights under a Creator-God. The reason why Rifqa is in a legal predicament is because the Creator clause has not been upheld many legal precedents ago. By virtue of Islam's rejection of the equality of non-Muslims with Muslims (e.g., Koran 9:27) American jurisprudence should have long ago categorized Islam as an organized crime and not a 501c3 religious organization. Islam is incompatible with America's creator clause. Islam is unAmerican--not because Muslims don't play nicely with kafir--but because Islam rejects the "self evident" truth that "all men are created equal." Instead of so categorizing Islam as unAmerican, Pamela (and Robert) appeal to baseless and unsupportable humanistic grounds to defend the West. In so doing, you injure Rifqa's legal case. The sooner Pamela recognizes the Creator clause as central to the American's identity, the better off AS readers will be. And Rifqa will be the better off for it too. I'm not defending Stemberger's legal judgement. I'm not qualified to do so. But I doubt that Stemberger fails to appreciate the Creator clause as the source of Rifqa's inalienable rights as Pamela does.

What is the basis for your rights Pamela? Is it the mere dislike of being treated like a second-class citizen under sharia law? And on this basis do you look for common understanding against slavery by appealing to homosexual sensitivities? But if homosexual organizations, like those of the "woman's" movement, is rather universally silent about Islamic oppression, what do you expect to gain? The left is on a death march to bring Western civilization to ashes and you want to take up their cause. Go figure. Pamela, there is nothing under that panecea rock or "common secular understanding" against Islam. There is no sound ideological basis for such common ground rights. Look at the mightly UN's inability to subdue world peace on the basis of "can't we all get along?" The political right has suffered huge losses to the Rodney King ideology. This is just another example. There is no rational political basis for homosexuality. Eros can not serve as a political foundation. See Ryan Sorba interview at Standing up for sodomy is going to get you two additional homosexuals on your side and millions of lost converts because you've failed to recognize that man's inaleinable rights come from God. By failing to respect God and natural rights, you have severed your foothold to all rights. Pamela and Robert, you are falling on the sword of political correctness.

Sowell is so good. Sowell's article makes the FOX interview at Barack Insane Obama: Nationalized Medicine Will Result in a "3,000 Percent Decrease in Premiums" a comic routine or a media stunt. What is the point in talking about phantom savings here and there? Socialism has never worked. Unfortunately, FOX does not have the courage to ask the questions which disparge socialism. FOX and the MSM give socialism a free pass.

Wafa Sultan epitomizes the courage that is necessary for Muslims considering apostatizing from Islam. Amidst her death threats, Wafa looks to be at peace. Imagine the psychological challenge. Yet, the psychiatrist even looks beautifully at peace. She is beautiful. I love this woman.

Pamela, Jamal, jj and jewishodysseus think the Rifqa Bary legal team is--by being starved of discussion of Islam--making a judicial mistake. Surely Mo and Aysha Bary do not want to put Islam on trial. But by going after fellow "unruly" Brian Williams, Mo and Aysha are introducing Islam. This may have the unintended consequence of helping Rifqa's SIJS effort. What Mo and Aysha intend for evil (protecting the incompatibility of Islam with America's belief in a God who has created ALL men with equal rights), God intends for good: God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purposes. Rom. 8:28"Imagine the honor [my father would have in purging the very Islamic Bary bloodline of apostate Rifqa Bary] in killing me" Rifqa Bary (available on youtube and AS). Yes Rifqa, most are not listening or imagining. Obama is not listening. He said, "So let me say this as clearly as I can: The United States is not, and will never be, at war with Islam." To L-Dopa, Islam is a pure as the wind driven snow. (Oh how terrible it is to call evil "good.") The mainstream media is not imagining. Meredith "Hijab" Heagney is not imagining. John Lennon and the liberal establishment dare not imagine. Clearly lot of Muslims are imagining. But some informed and courageous non-Muslims are imagining. And we thank you for your intelligent and courageous act to attempt an escape from hell and educate us about Islamic oppression.
jj, My understanding of "and" is that it applies to the content after the semicolon: the "and" has no bearing on the material before the semicolon. I left a message to Judge Gill where I asked, among other things, that the gag order on the attorneys be lifted.

My understanding is that "reunification" is a very large umbrella and can include the first part of SIJS qualification point 3 (the part before the semicolon) without the second part (which follows the semicolon).
