I was browsing through this book at the store and put it on my wish list. I'd love to win it!

I left a Happy New year on Kerri's blog for my 2nd entry.
My favorite fabric of yours is the Little Houses on the light background.
I've really been enjoying the blog tours. All really interesting and unique people and projects to look at. I purchased Whip Up Mini Quilts and am ordering Scan. Stitches through Amazon and I think it's going to take about 3 weeks. But that's okay, something to look forward to in the drone of January. Happy Holidays.

What I want to make for myself is shirt. I'm just beginning to look at sewing garments and I'm excited about the prospect. Also, I want to make a really cool one of a kind tennis bag.

I love the simplicity and joy in her work, and would love to win the book so I could have some serious play time in my sewing room. My hubs son and I are usually the 3 of us for holidays so we settled on our tradition to be relaxed. We decide what we all want to eat (3 diff. menus) and we all pitch in and cook. The holiday movies start and we sit down and watch the same ones over and over for hours and just feel great being together and blessed in our home.

Thanks for the view of some of the more detailed quilts and dolls. I've always wanted to try making a doll and bought one of the books. Funny about the backwards dress. Thanks for the chance, would love some help with applique and free fabric always works for me!

My favorite season is Winter. I love the quiet opportunity to get some seeds ready for Spring and clean out stuff inside and out. I think of it as a sort of resting period. Although, here in the South we don't get many freezing cold days, I appreciate the ones we do have.
Your pictures of everyone are the best. I would be absolutely dumbfounded to see all this talent in front of me so it's probably a good thing that I can't go. That button booth is somewhere I could get lost in!

Oh, I could live in Amy Butler's booth, or the Echino booth. I can't imagine how amazing it is to see them in person - but I really appreciate the pics of everything! Thanks for the chance to win some awesome stuff.

Your post brought me to tears for you, and back to the night of my son's near SIDS episode. I saved him, he's autistic but thriving to the best of my (and now his) ability. It's all about the love around them.
