I love the pic of the wolf, I identify with him totally :) and I understand what you are talking about :) But I think the organized world is actually more chaotic than organized or maybe it is organized chaos (bullshit)

Stitching outside in the sun today, trying to finish BadCo so I can start my new piece Old Testament (I think, it could be scroll or torah), actually I have started some of the small stitched pieces that will be part of the scroll..these are my small carry around pieces that I can do at the Doc's and such :) Continue reading

This is a piece I am working on as part of Global Elements (my upcoming show in Oct.), It is Bermuda inspired and has a story..it is called BadCo. I am really enjoying the handstitching and the fabric and the dyeing and the building of a story...I think I have found a medium and a mode that is really DOING it for me, it has only taken eons, but I believe that everything I have done up to now has led me here...its all about the process andI am loving this process... Last Dec I spent some time in Bermuda, what a wonderful colorful textural place to be, I would love being able to spend a longer time there :) I am working on a piece right now that comes out of my time in BDA, and a friend posted this pic the other day...it spoke to me with its color and lines :) I have permission to use its color and texturesas inspiration for another piece it is rolling around in my brain along with all my Fryeburg ideas :) Continue reading
