I was going to laugh at your "writhing in riddles" typo (already a very odd typo to make, it is still a typo) but then I restrained myself and I see now typos of my own (ethic instead of ethnic and folow instead of follow) so I did the right thing, eh.
So much for the "sinister" arrogance.
And, yo, capitalized Marco; I stated that I admire the Bruins true grit, and do not admire the team owner - that's management right there. Never did I come close to the old "it's the curse" excuse that the Sox Nation could evoke in past years...

LOL to the infinite - or something like that...
My, oh my, marco moron (I just gave thee a last name - be happy) you would be an (asinine) ASSUMER. I already had surmised so much...
I don't have time for this crap, really, so I'll summarize a bit and be done with it:
- who says luc is my real name
- who says I am not already living in "Culbec"... Or, perhaps, I am in Boston, yay, the city of champions - lest I am in Vermont, the in-between solution!
- why assume so much about "joints" (not joins) bitterness (your forté) how I truly feel about any given subject touched upon here in brief and, of all things, bookwormness - when I haven't read a work of fiction in YEARS... I read things you couldn't decipher in your bestest of lucid days (which, I will presume now, aren't many at all...)
In short - you have narrow a clue who you are talking to... you twit!
And finally - you still haven't understood that within a single generation the ethic groups have merged completely with the local culture and are undistinguishable from a "culbéquois pure laine" - meaning that the poor idiotic (because they chose you - then again it could have been a dream you were having, not reality) grrrls you French kissed could have been anything, not necessarily true French-Canadians. So there goes your theory, the same way the B's hopes of mastery on ice went last June, alas (in the B's case only)
The truly scary stuff is that the masses (no pun at the expense of the state of Massachusetts here, fear not whoever else is reading this) are victimizing their language with the most careless and distasteful of "laisser-aller" - and this goes for both sides of the 39th parallel... I abhor this "net lingo" and the slang, joual and assorted versions of them we can find everywhere, in writ or spoken out loud. Now THAT is scary - if you can't folow sports and be able to spell properly, what are you? A cretinous cromagnon? A nitwit neanderthal? What's the future of our beloved "civilized society" then? At least SOME (not all) hockey players have an education, something AWAY from the sport after their years of rockin' sockin' it on ice are behind them... What do all these masses amongst fandom have, exactly...?
Scared stiff, yet?
But I will not make the same mistake of assuming too much...
That estimate (about the French misspellers) is frighteningly true, though - no independent survey firm needs apply to verify that for it is one of those "evidences" about the masses that everyone suspects - but few say out loud...
And, BTW, it would be "à ta santé" but since I want no familiarities with scum, I advise using "à votre santé" instead.
Now beat it, punk.

You make me laugh, marco - how many hours did you toil over that reply, hmm?
Five, ten? And it is so riddled with silly mistakes that you reveal how abysmal *you* really are...! Truly priceless...
Jessica Isner sure did not foresee such a poor turnout in the "voting" process here - and to think that she writes so beautifully well for such asinine morons as you marco - and bugs on the opposite side - it truly makes one wonder why BOTHER... hmm?
I hope you do not represent the typical Boston Bruins fan - lest I will stop rooting for them asap! I will stop rooting for any hockey team, period! Are you all idiots or what?!?
And since I was "so clearly referring to" the immigrant women, you obtuse tool, howcome you prove that you cannot read at all and come to the conclusion that I am racist? LOL I am saying that the immigrants are better and I am racist?
I don't think you should root for the B's, pal - you're jinxing them!
Oh - and keep the phone numbers because I do not deal with the rabble - and all my dreams have come true. Yours never will.
Still - I hope the B's do win a cup - for their own sake, certainly not for (some of) their stupid fans! Nor for the team owner...

You can't read marco - much less read between the lines... But I gave you too much credit myself by misreading your last line for the first few nano-seconds that I read it; for it is women who do not want to be compared to "succulent, delicious meals" (make it nutritious while you're at it - sheesh!)
A true ladies' man would know so much!
You don't even know mtl's population is being replenished by immigration; the "naturally hairless women" are in fact second or third generation immigrants!
As for me - my harem is more intellectually sound than that.
And I know you're the way you are - you can't help it, true...
Keep roaming the globe in search for a cure, eh - maybe you can heal bugs too while you're at it.

In regards to broads rather than bruins, harlots rather than habs, I must say that MTL has nothing any more special than a thousand other towns; and if you find them so exotic, it might be because they are of european stock! There are so many cultures mished-mashed in mtl that it gives new meaning to melting pot! Dating there leaves you assured of becoming, sooner or later, a sultan of swing whose harem includes every flavour imagineable - almost! But that does not mean they are more beautiful than women elsewhere; nor are they more interesting. And, in fact, it does not mean in any way that there is more "choice" in mtl - at all! There's simply more numbers per community, as each cultural group immigrated there in bulk, or so it seems...
And most of them don't give a damn about hockey!

Guys... 40 years ago, 50 years, 60 years ago...
The Bruins were always competing hard against the Habs - the fact is, the hated habs benefited from an unfair advantage as they laid claim to all the French Canadian talent; and guess what? That was the only peeps that ever practiced (a tad too religiously) the damn game of hockey!
Face it, there never was half as many things to do in Montreal (heck, in the entire Belle Province) than there was in BOSTON - a true cultural center for the truly evolved minds! So Boston diversified, branched out - whereas Montreal only focused on hockey and got to mass produce goons and finesse players alike...! Great, I guess...
That the Bruins manage to get to be as good and even much better than teams who hail from towns that have NOTHING ELSE to concentrate on (practically - forget the Impact and Alouettes!) speaks VOLUMES, really; it is much more impressive than seeing montreal or edmonton top their divisions, for example, because those towns have all their attention upon these clubs. Kinda like the Celtic in European football! They have to be competitive or else... (Prepare for a whole lot of "else" though, in Montreal!)
Boston, for years, could remain a quiet haven for their own Boston-born and bred hockey players; a slumbering giant content in making the playoffs while being competitive and remaining economically viable as a franchise.
Success by the Celtics twice spurred on the Boston Garden "colocs" to turn it on and achieve more success; in the Bobby Orr years and NOW.
Before that; Boston's success in hockey came about as the necessary accomplishments of a PIONEER - as it pioneered every other sport, basically!
Today, with the successes of the Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics, the Bruins have to folow suit too!
It's apples and oranges with the habs - as they simply got good at playing their ONLY SPORT! It'd be the funniest thing to see a Montreal franchise in the NBA - trying to be a "rival" with the mighty Boston Celtics! Comparing such a scenario with the Boston Bruins and Habs is ludicrous; because the Bruins have time and again rivaled with them and the other best that the NHL has ever had to offer!
Simply put, the Bruins never had to do better than they did, over the years; their fans became the "gallery gods" and the town became the "hub of hockey" because of the quality of gutsy, hardworking players that started blossoming there - and that can be appreciated, year after year, winning or losing.
The preceding playoff series between the B's and habs was actually BETTER than the satisfying sweep in these past playoffs: because we saw hard-nosed Bruins fight against all odds and still force a game 7, when they'd not won a single game in 13 meetings prior to game 3 of that series. WHAT AN AWESOME DISPLAY OF RESILIENCE AND GUTS! Sweeping the has-been habs was not as spectacular as winning games 3, 5 (back in Montreal) and 6, continuously coming back from deficits! I miss Nokelainen! And even Metropolit!

luc is now following Metric
Aug 30, 2009
"A move may be necessary for the Bruins, who are strapped for cap space"
they wrote...
Sometimes the best move is no move at all! The B's are set, as far as I'm concerned, for a great year with the pieces of the puzzle that are in place. Morris replaces Ward - Begin replaces Yelle - Bitz will probably log in minutes when Axelsson used to... The young offense must NOT be touched: otherwise, why are the Marc-Marco-Mark guys there for? Savard, Sturm and Recchi especially are there to teach Krejci, Ryder, Wheeler and especially KESSEL how to grind it out and take it to the next level! So - NO MOVE is the best move; let the cap space take care of itself! If injuries occur - bring up Providence reinforcements! No hired guns are required; the B's are well-stocked now to go through ANYTHING.
And besides - shipping Kess to either NY or SJ, two arch-rivals for league supremacy, would be pure folly... Chiarelli is not that mad! Jacobs better not push him into it...
Report: Rangers Running Out of Time to Get Phil Kessel
With each passing day, Bruins fans wonder whether or not they'll see Phil Kessel suit up for the home team at the Garden next season. As it turns out, there's an entirely different group of fans hoping Kessel's new home will be a completely different Garden. According to the New York Post, the N...
Bugs is obviously very forgetful: the only reason why the B's did not finish off the habs in 2004 is because Thornton was there - choking in the post-season, as he does again and again, but in San Jose now. He had to step up and stick it to Theodore (a "gardien fini" if one has ever seen one, right Bugs?) but did not. Kovalev was completely ineffective last year as the B's swept the hated habs - so he couldn't possibly be the reason why anybody won in 2004, come on now...!
Maurice Richard had the utmost respect for the Boston Bruins and when he was asked who were the best players of his day, he listed many Bruins - not his teammates - so that should tell you the truth about this rivalry, Bugs - you ignorant fool! But you're doing it on purpose, evidently...
Oh - and Kovy did bump into Souray back then - yeah! The stick was high and Souray effectively slashed his own guy indeed! I still remember weak Kovy dangling his wrist as Murray cruised to the net and scored a superb goal to win it! Now THAT was great to see - and the series should have ended right there!
Last year we got it right though: Ryder scored more than one goal like that and it was a clean sweep!
More of the same is coming for you, Bugs...!
