I'm an old man who's seen too many things, and I'll tell you today that all of it leads somewhere -- wherever you're heading, there's a place for it. After finishing my work and especially on my days off, I like to walk out from my house and just beyond the town so I can try to find myself through reflection. I’ve built a gazebo in a meadow out there overlooking misty woods stretching for miles. I was much younger when I built it. She’s strong and made of oak. In this area, the sun gleams heavy in that semi-open... Continue reading

I’ve heard that purgatory is a place in between Heaven and Hell; however, I only believe this to be partially true. I believe purgatory is a way of describing a fluid reality -- something that can change. You may imagine the idea using The Equilibrium. The blue circle represents the infinite manner of Heaven, the red circle represents the infinite manner of hell, and there are infinite spaces in between, represented by purple, but collectively, they make up a purgatory, and this is for the people living on Earth and in the spirit-life. We’re in neither a Heaven nor a... Continue reading

I've painted the idea of The Equilibrium simpler here, but the concept looks like a fiery, purple sun and is similar to the Yin Yang. In fact, I believe the Yin Yang and the Equilibrium are closely related. To me, these two smaller circles appear to be complete opposite forces expelling their energy into the world, similar to the yin yang, however, the Equilibrium is far more fluid than that. I believe the Equilibrium says the two opposite forces collide and splash into each other as they are contained within the rule of the largest force, or chi, because the... Continue reading

My thoughts on people differ from the great speakers of the subject, but at the same time, they are certainly the same, and my wants are equal: people deserve better than what they have -- all of us. I've become aware that people are paradoxical. Some have 'this' personality, while others have 'that' personality, but they all have personality. Most importantly, though, people are infinitely ignorant and infinitely intelligent at the same time -- we're forever learning. I believe these two opposites coexisting together create the ability to learn, to progress, to evolve. Understand, too, that by even writing a... Continue reading
