Thankful for your sharing about your dad. Thankful to God for his love and forgiveness! Thankful for our freedom in the US. When watching the news about Ft. Hood, I wrote a little poem: The Night Before 'happy holidays' Twas the night before 'happy holidays' And all through the White House, Not a protest was heard, Not even a pout! The unborn and unwanted were no longer guests there, killed by money forced from tax-payer health care. The stocking for 'the great one' Hung with much fan fair. For he felt he alone knew the answers-- He would not share! Soldiers far from home and soldiers close by There sacrifices did not even cause him to blink an eye! "Don't jump to conclusions," his words of comfort were, As the families spent Christmas by a fresh mound of dirt. Joblessness is good the news journalist say. Not caring that more and more people have bills left unpaid. Bailouts are given to big company cheats-- Their top execs flying comfortably to tropical heat. Twas the night before 'happy holiday' But twas really quite sad, For true Christmas has been lost Along with America's proud past. Will Americans notice? Will Americans care? For little by little Our freedoms are no longer there. -drr

Wouldn't it be funny if you had bad fake teeth like Mark Lowry has and you put them on your dog and took them to the vet...

Mark Harris--I Wish You Were Here Remembering 9/11 and all those who died and all those service people and their families who give so much! Verse 1 I wanted to tell you how closely I've kept The memories of you in my heart And all of the lifetimes that we've had to share Live even though we're apart But don't cry for me 'Cause I'm finally free Chorus: To run with the angels On streets made of gold To listen to stories of saints new and old To worship our Maker That's where I'll be When you finally find me Verse 2 Now don't you be weary cause waiting for you Are wonders that you've never known Just hold on to Jesus, reach out for His hands Find More lyrics at And one day they'll welcome you home And that's when you'll be Finally Free Finally Free Chorus I wish you were here 2x Bridge And all of the dreams that you treasure Will soon come together And that's when your sorrow will find tomorrow And you will rise again Chorus 2x I wish you were here 3x
