Love your pictures. Chobe National Park is an elephant lover's paradise and you found them. Congratulations. I love elephants too. I was very fortunate to witness elephants crossing the Zambezi River from Chiawa in the Lower Zambezi National Park to Zimbabwe's Mana Pools - as you say, it was an amazing sight. They don't have very good eyesight, but their hearing is excellent. They used their trunks to smell us too, so their sense of smell is excellent too.

An African safari honeymoon is like no other. Imagine getting out of your game vehicle to find rose petals leading you to your luxurious tent or chalet, into the bathroom where a huge tub of bubbles and a bottle of champagne are awaiting for you and your loved one. Or, going out on your own private game drive and the vehicle stops just before sunset where there are candles all around you and a beautiful table is set up for just the two of you with your own private chef. Wow! These are some of the many things you will find await you on your African safari honeymoon. Honeymooners to us are very special people, this is the beginning of your journey together, why not begin with one amazing adventure. Only in Africa can you sleep in a bush camp surrounded by elephants and leopards! Allison, I'm so excited for you to be traveling to Botswana or Kenya, hopefully Botswana as it sounds like that's your fiance's dream. Some beautiful spots in Botswana are Jao Camp, Little Vumbura, Duba Plains (for buffalo & lion interaction), Savuti, Kings Pool - oh you are going to have the most amazing start to your married lives! Best wishes Sandy
