I would use first paint the paper and then use it to make postcards and envelopes. All the leftover bits would go in a collage. Fun idea!

I'd love to win this and eliminate all those excuses!!
Hello from MYPL. I'm in Swatches too and had hoped the instructions were for a multiple signature booklet. Can you share how you are putting in more than one signature? I'd like to do more signatures so I don't have such fat ones to get enough pages. But I'm new to book making. I can't wait to see your pages! I found some great kids books in Japanese or maybe it's Chinese or Korean. I can't read it, but they'd be fun pages to work on. Happy Easter.

Wow, can't wait till the new stencils are available - honeycomb is my very favorite, though not the only one on my wish list. So happy to find a new source of videos also. Not sure why I've never come across it before.
Leaves and diamonds are my faves, but sure do like tiny circles and cityscape too, though I'm a certified nature nut.
I think I have to add the leaf stencil to my growing wish list. Your new ones are so tempting after being without power, internet and then getting 11" of snow in 6 hours. Need art supplies to cure winter blues!
I'd love to win this class to develop a portable palette. It's important to know your ingredients and color mixing is a way to learn about the individual colors as well as how they play together. Thanks and Happy New Year!

Beautiful use of stencils and a way to avoid more trash as well. Gotta get some of these!
I'd love to check out this book. I work with kids who need inspiration for their imaginations. This looks perfect for that. Thanks!

My mailman brings packages to my door and is always cheerful and helpful ... Even in six ices of snow! The postmistress is always patient when i want to look at the whole book of stamps to pick pretty ones. Congrats on the big 3000!

I am a sucker for stencils, so thanks for the chance to win some. Congrats on being featured in the book. Have your other book and use it often to teach kids to journal.
I like to hold and see a book before I buy, but I don't get to shop at book stores much, so I'll usually look to see if Amazon has a preview of it. Some books I buy because of the author or content. Actually it doesn't take much to get me to buy a book. I'd love to get a copy of this, have been drawn to encaustic art for some time, but there's no room in my art room. So I'd need a book to get me hooked. When I was a kid, I used to put paper on top of the heater in the garage and draw on it with crayons. They would melt and I guess it was very elementary encaustic art. Love the smell of melting crayons!

What a fabulous giveaway. It's hard to pick just one of the hops, but I think the tag hop is favorite because I hadn't been all that excited about that stencil until I saw what everyone did with it. Suddenly it was more than just a template to make tags! I will keep fingers crossed to win some stencils - I love the butterfly.

Great stencil and I love how everyone uses it. My style is closest to Paula's, as I love layers. But I also liked how Marcy used two colors and offset the stencil for the white, that works really well with this stencil. Would love to win it so I can try that.

I have to admit that at first this stencil didn't excite me ... until I watched the videos! I loved all the sites, but especially loved how Catherine layered the stencils. Thanks for a chance to win and hopefully play with this myself. Great tutorials everyone!

Here kitty kitty - please pick me. I'd love to make something with these charming charms. The clouds are adorable! Thanks for your generosity and inspiration.
I love how differently you used the stencil - it really gave a great overview of how to use them. I'd love to learn encaustic one of these days. Thanks for a chance to win!

I love those pointy circles and would love to win one. Great question, I've found some fun new blogs to follow from this post. I guess one of my favorites (cause I don't have just one) is Quinn Creative. Happy weekend everyone!!

Love the linkies in the hop and the chance to win a great stencil. My favorite technique with stencils is to spray color wash (and soon will try dyelusions that just arrived)in layers. Some of my sprays are fountain pen ink. Sprays it is!

At the moment my Micron has moved over for Rapidosketch in .25, which does nicely in the Moleskin planner. The new stencils are great - thanks for preview.

I suspect I may start off using Tammy's spray technique but I really LOVE how you made a stamp out of the stencil and will definitely be doing that when I have a bit more time. Thanks for video tute, it was great.
