Download Luke10:27 Video I'll have to post to YouTube before you can play it "live", but for now you can download it (link above) and play it with your favorite video player software - better resolution and such that way anyway... Produced in summer of 2001 at our church's VBS - approx. 48 hrs from concept to finished product, so it's not all that great, but it does show some of what can be done. Camera was VHS analog. Master is VHS analog. Animation done within video editor, using stock clip art. I moved the "camera", rather than the images.... Continue reading

It's either this or a jazz waltz I think....leaning toward this more simple country style with just a few jazz chords. I sure could use some input about now. If you like this, let me know. If you think it is more suitable for driving away unwanted houseguests, let me know THAT also. I'd rather hear boos and raspberries than crickets - nothing worse to a performer than crickets.... Thank YOU! To Yeshua's eternal glory! I know He watches me! I sing because I'm free, I'm free because He said "ye shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make... Continue reading

DaughterAndDad - MP3 Audio File Was working on a gospel arrangement the other evening, and on a break was just playing around. Thought about my friend Randy, who passed away nearly five years ago, and tried to play one of his favorites. I couldn't quite remember it right, and this is what came out instead. I thought it was ok, and played it again to sorta nail it in my head (and turned on the recorder to be sure). All the while I was thinking of my step-daughter Shannon, who had lost her father a couple of days earlier. By... Continue reading

Here's the first rough of "I Stand Amazed". If any one wants to use this for backtracks, we need to nail down the details, format, key, tempo, etc before I go on. Those things CAN be changed later but are much less work to change now. Lyrics can be found here. My fave verse is 2 but I would suggest using 1, 4, and 5. Maybe do 4 and 5 together 'cuz it's a tad long being slowed down like this. Currently in key of "A", I imagine that's a bit high for Roger, it is for me anyway. Tempo... Continue reading

Stringing together wins has been a rarity this season for Joe Gilbert's softball squad, but the young Lady Panthers may be peaking at the right time as Barnsdall picked up back-to-back wins in the final two games of the regular season. The Panthers downed Nowata 13-10 Tuesday in senior Caty... Continue reading

In three previous meetings this season, Barnsdall and Copan have come down to the wire, with all three contests ending in one-run Hornet wins. Caney Valley's size and experience prevailed over the Panthers' youth and quickness Friday as the Trojans handed Barnsdall a 41-12 loss in the season opener at Ramona. Just as in last year's rivalry battle, the Trojans stuck mostly to the ground, with most of that through the middle and all... Continue reading

Enough of beating up on each other, and "games" that don't count, it's time for some serious football as the Barnsdall Panthers open the 2011 season Friday at Ramona against the Caney Valley Trojans. The Trojans (5-5 last season) look to be a slight favorite this time around, but local... Continue reading

Here's a few plays from the Panthers' scoring drive at Friday's scrimmage v. Commerce. We ran out of memory before the touchdown.... Colten Tisdale takes a pitch on the option, Caleb Hawes improvises after a bobbled snap, and Hawes hooks up with Jake Lanphear for a pair of good gains. Continue reading

The Barnsdall Lady Panthers bounced back from Thursday's heartbreaker at Copan by downing a pair of Cougar opponents Friday and Saturday.
