Anyone else not seeing the Miami game on the list of "Up Coming" games on ESPN 3?

Guess we'll have to look at being more of a 4-2 defense and have J Carter in the box more as a 3rd "backer"? What the biggest difference between Carter ( 6'1" 215) and Grace (6'1" 215)? I recall reading us planning on using Grace as a potential nickel or cover TE's. Just need to teach J Carter how to blitz. Thoughts?

Treon Harris will transfer from Florida after two years with the program. Harris was in the middle of an indefinite suspension with the program (along with receiver Antonio Callaway) since January that was modified in June, where he could attend classes on campus while using Florida’s facilities as a resolution to his situation was reached. However, three weeks ago ITG reported that Harris wasn't with the team for the first three workouts of Summer B and subsequently learned that he hadn’t been with the team during recent workouts. He also wasn’t in attendance at this past weekend’s Friday Night Lights while his father, Booker T. Washington head coach Tim “Ice” Harris, was. All of this came during talks that Harris would potentially be making a switch over to wide receiver with the Gators, as he essentially fell out of favor at quarterback with the Florida coaching staff. This comes after a sophomore season where Harris struggled taking over for a suspended Will Grier, as the Gators finished the year 4-4 under his leadership following a 6-0 start. Harris finished his 2015 campaign with 1,676 yards, nine touchdowns and six interceptions on 50.6% passing. He’s now the seventh scholarship quarterback to transfer from Florida since the start of 2013, joining Jacoby Brissett, Tyler Murphy, Max Staver, Jeff Driskel, Skyler Mornhinweg and Grier. Now, every quarterback to sign with Florida during the Will Muschamp era has since opted to transfer. Harris is the seventh Gator to leave the program since the start of the offseason, joining linebacker Jeremi Powell, kicker Austin Hardin, offensive guard Travaris Dorsey, and receivers Raphael Andrades, Ryan Sousa and Alvin Bailey. Florida moves on at the quarterback position heading into fall training camp with Luke Del Rio, Austin Appleby, Feleipe Franks and Kyle Trask.

This is the kind of talk that motivates me about the program: • On his staff: “I got to cherry-pick guys that I know were not only great coaches and great people, but guys that would really buy into how I like to do things. It’s been a good fit…. “I told the coaches this. I said, I am coaching QBs again, I'm calling plays, I'm getting in the middle of this offense again. I don't have time to baby-sit anybody. I tell them if I have to motivate you, ‘We’ve got a problem.’ If I’ve got to motivate a staff member to do his job, I’m probably going to get another staff member. Now I will find out what’s going on sooner or later and if there’s issues with guys not getting their jobs done, they’ve got to find another place…. "I think I've done a really good job of hiring guys that are that type of people [that are workers]. That’s the beauty of being able to hire the right people. These guys are busting their tails. I’ve got full faith and confidence in them. It’s been a lot of fun.”

Just read the details on the Mark Walton case. Glad it was dropped, but man there are some real troubling signs in our judicial systems. I realize that people are human, but his could have been real bad, and I am glad his attorneys are not going to let it close like that. As someone said earlier, these young men, majority black need to realize that the world is real. There are real evil people out there, dressed in all type of clothing. We need to teach our young men to always be aware of your surroundings and circumstances. Sad to say, but sometimes its just best to stay around loved ones.

I hope Kaaya puts up the numbers that force him to leave as a JR. That just means we are winning games. A 10 game win season (with a marquee victory, i.e. FSU or ND and ACCCG) would solidify his entrance into the draft.

Great article. Really hope the best for the kid, with the right coaching and an aggressive scheme (a la Steelers) he can have a great career. Sad to see they let go of Spence (body broke down on him), but Chick is still there. Under the teaching of Carnell Lake, Burns should really flourish.
I think this is a good line up - left tackle Trevor Darling, left guard Kc McDermott, Nick Linder, right guard Danny Isidora and right tackle Tyree St. Louis. Having Bar Milo push Trevor Darling and either Sunny or Jahair Jones push Tyree will make this unit much better. Everyone else are JAG.

Posted by: orange 'n green in the vein | March 01, 2016 at 04:22 PM So we shold do nothing? With the noted "lack of space" and "lack of funds" I think we should at least get something in place. Currently if its storming we are in the gym?????.....wonder how big that is??? SMDH Always excuses and bitching about what we can't do or don't have??? If we focused on what is possible, what can we do, and get that done the rest will come.
