Working on Ashburn. The first color went quickly but the second is dragging, even though, in theory, it's only 50 more yards than the other color! It sure doesn't feel like it though. I'm nothing if not timely right? Maybe my delay in posting this just shows I'm not just taking part in the New Year's resolution fads? I'm going with that. :) Quick and dirty to get it out there: First up, knitting goals 1. With some of the KALs I did last year, I realized that I am horrible about documenting projects - pictures taken and never loaded. Projects completed and never documented. 2. In my over ambitious January, when I thought I could knit a sweater and whip out a surprise knit, I signed up for a mystery hat KAL. The pattern is Rikke. The yarn is Tosh Merino Light in Turquoise. I will 2014 - Wrapping up

So, another year gone. I don't know about you, but I think I'm glad 2014 is gone. It wasn't bad. It just wasn't that good. Just a vague discontent about the year without being able to say that was bad. But, since I've completed my 2015 goals, I thought I'd wrap up 2014. I'm having to reread a bit because it's been so long and the author sprinkles clues throughout the book. I love these books, but it is hard to read sharing a room with a little. Joining Ginny this week. Feel free to leave a comment with what you're reading and knitting. The little blue hat has been finished for a week, but I still need to do some embellishment. Good thing I always knit too big so maybe baby will still be able to wear it! I'm on the last couple rows of a cowl for my Mom for Christmas. Of course, those rows are 201 stitches (miscounted by one while casting on) and purling takes SO. LONG. This project has eaten yarn and it won't be as high as I'd hoped. I suspect she'll...
