Hey everyone, It's time I put up another challenge project I have been working on. And this time I was determined to make the deadline hehe. Today is a colour challenge that the team over at Create with Connie and Mary offered us. I had so much fun coming up with something that used these colours. The challenge asked us to use: I have always wanted to try the technique I used on my card and with this stamp set, it gave me the perfect opportunity. The image was white embossed on "Crumb Cake" card stock and then painted using... Continue reading

Hello again. I have another project to show you today. Again I have entered into a couple of challenges (I'm on a roll hehe). This is a very clean and simple card. I haven't played with my embossing folders for a while and fun getting them out and dusting them off. This is a project for this weeks challenge at Just Add Ink, where we had to create something and "just add hearts". Thanks for visiting xox Continue reading

I made my previous Valentines box without realising I could enter it into the Create with Connie and Mary challenge. For this challenge we needed to create a treat box, and my valentines pillow box fits this description to a tea. I have only just recently found this challenge site, and will be definately returning again. Such great challenges and a great inspiring design team. Thanks for looking xo Continue reading

Once again it has been a long time between posts. This seems to be the story of my life hehe. Valentine's Day is just around the corner and I felt it was time to get that cardstock out and dust off my stamps. Today I have created a pillow box. This little box is perfect for that special little gift for a loved one. To get my creative mojo rolling once again, I decided to add my project to not one, but four paper craft challenges that are currently running. Challenges are a perfect way to get those creative juices... Continue reading

Hello again to everyone. We are a group of fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators, but more importantly a group of great friends, who have decided to do a little blog hop that showcases some beautiful colour combinations found in the Colour Coach (available for purchase in the current catalogue). The colour combination that I have chosen for this project is Pink Pirouette, Sahara Sand and Always Artichoke. I think these soft colours look beautiful together. For my project I have created a set of drawers (perfect for those little gifts for someone special) that showcases an easel style card on the... Continue reading

I just wanted to wish my friends and followers a very happy and safe Easter. If you are going away for the long weekend, please drive safely. I do hope that the Easter Bunny is kind to you and brings lots of chocolate. As I haven't created any fresh Easter projects for this year I wanted to show you again a project I made for Easter last year. This cute little Easter box and matching card was so easy to do and so effective. They made the perfect little Easter gift for my children's teachers this year. Have a great... Continue reading

Spring would have to be one of my most favourite times of the year. The sky is blue, the sun is shining and the butterflies are dancing. Here in Melbourne, Australia however, we still have a few more seasons to get through first. I visited Stampin' Royalty today, only to discover that Spring is definitely in the air over there. Their latest challenge is to create a project featuring Spring. Now when combined with the latest sketch challenge over at Stamping 411, anything was possible. It definitely got my brain ticking again (doesn't seem to turn off lately), and this... Continue reading

I headed over to ColourQ today and had a look at their new colour challenge for the week. As soon as I saw these colours together, I instantly thought Autumn, and just had to give it a go. Mind you, I had to dig up a piece of that retired Kiwi Kiss card stock. Good thing I kept all of my retired card stock for the kids. And here is my take on this colour combination. It is just a very Clean and Simple card, but I thought it was very effective. This card is already en route to a... Continue reading

I have another project to show you today. Again I have tried to combine two challenges. A friend of mine Christine Blain, always comes up with the most beautiful projects (little does she know that I secretly admire her from a far), and I noticed that she enters quite a few challenges. Some of these sites I haven't ever heard of. One of the sites that she let me know about is the SUO Challenge Site (Stampin' Up! Only). And I already love it and visit on a daily basis just to see what projects are around. Their challenge for... Continue reading

It's about time for me to have a play along with another challenge. This time however, I thought I'd get a little tricky and try my hand at combining two challenges. Believe me, this was no easy feat as my mojo has just recently returned to me. The project that I am showing you today is based around Clean and Simple's latest sketch challenge shown below I was unsure of what colours I should go with so I deceded to use the colour challenge found at Stampin' Royalty. I just loved these colours together. So, when I combined these two... Continue reading

Not sure what is going on here, but I have entered yet another challenge. Is that my mojo I see starting to creep back home. This weeks challenge at Clean and Simple is a beautiful sketch challenge. The only challenges that I have really ever entered are colour challenges. So this sketch is a first for me. I decided to keep it nice and simple and not throw myself in the deep end. And this is what I came up with: I have made this card for a special lady who is celebrating her Birthday on Wednesday (so here is... Continue reading

It has been such a long time since I have entered any challenges. And when the challenge for this week came up at Just Add Ink, I knew I just had to join in on the fun. This weeks challenge is "Just add boxes or bags". I simply adore creating 3D projects. Not only does it challenge my mind, but I have a nice little gift to give someone at the end of it. And this little Stationery set is the perfect gift to give someone. I love these colour together: Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight. Such summery and cheerful... Continue reading

Well after what seems to have been months of procrastinating, I have finally managed to firstly post something on here, and secondly, announce that I am starting to add some tutorials available for purchase. That is, of course, if I have managed to set this up correctly. The first tutorial that I have made available is for the beautiful Kusudama Ball. This beautiful flower can be used individually or glued together to shape a paper ball otherwise known as the Japanese Kusudama. These flowers are made out of multiple identical origami shapes. Traditionally they were used for incense or potpourri,... Continue reading

We all know how it goes in the paper craft world when you lose your mojo. Absolutely nothing gets created. Well my mojo has gone on one serious walk about. I am hoping that it will return back to me at some stage. But in the mean time I am going to post a few things that I worked on prior to it totally disappearing. Don't forget to ask me about my classes. They are now up and running as of this Saturday. And look out for my tutorials coming up soon. Have a great day x I made this... Continue reading

Hello again to everyone. We are a group of fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators, but more importantly a group of great friends, who have decided to do a little blog hop that showcases some beautiful christmas projects to inspire you all. I adore this time of year. My craft space is always sparkling with all the glitter that is used on my cards and boxes. The milk carton die was one of the first things I bought when the new catalogue came out, so I have been waiting to try making one of these cute milk carton carriers. It just makes... I know it has been a while since I was involved in the Royal Blog Tour. There was some interest in how I made my Kusudama Ball, and I promised to have my tutorial available. So many things have happened in the last few weeks, and I have given myself a little break from the computer. I am just making some final touches on the tutorial and it will be available very soon to anyone who is interested. Thanks for your patience and have a wonderful day xox Continue reading
