Waiting is about acceptance, but it also pulls the viewer in, and invites him or her into the moment, and into the future. Is the waiting tense with anticipation, or is it the relaxed patience of those who know they will get what they want? What will happen when the waiting is over? Will the cats get disgusted with the human's obvious tardiness and leave, or will they hear the magical sound of the can opening or the musical ping of kibble hitting the bowl? Because they are still in their waiting, I picture them unfolding and in motion later.
