Thank you to the idiot Maloof Brothers for taking our team from us. As a little boy, watching the Sacramento Kings got me to love the game of basketball. The Kings inspired me to try out for my high school basketball team. Wayman Tisdale was my favorite player. I sat courtside watching that the 2001-02 playoff series against the Lakers during the Kings' Championship run. Then the MaGoofs provide an inferior product for us to watch, continue hiking up the price of tickets, then wonder why we don't show up. 19 years in a row of sellouts and you don't... Thank you to all of you that had been texting, emailing and calling me to see how I have been doing. Here's the official doctor's prognosis: I had a severe staph infection on my face! Yuck! It caused ridiculous swelling and redness throughout the whole right side of my face. It looked like I was a 15 year old kid with insane acne. I was on a ton of medications and antibiotics. The medicine left me in a comatose-like state for most of the past 6 days. But I am back and better... I got a lot of work to... Continue reading

4 Red Flags That Send Buyers Running How you present a listing online and the words you choose to describe it may be turning off some buyers. Bankrate.com recently asked real estate professionals to weigh in on what listing red flags are turning off their buyers. 1. No photos. "One red flag in many buyers' eyes is the lack of photos for a listing," says Don Tepper with Long & Foster in Burke, Va. "There can be some legitimate reasons for few (or no) photos in a listing: The sellers want privacy, or they have valuables they don't want in... Continue reading

Last week, we returned back from our national conventional (Family Reunion). One of the great events at every Reunion is our Northern California and Hawaii Regional Awards Dinner. This year, it was held at Tortilla Jo's at Downtown Disney. Here's a few of the pics from the event! Tortilla Jo's! Pat Cote and Kelly Cote volunteered to check peeps in. The crowd waited to hear the results of each Market Center's success! I wore my fur coat! (Actually I borrowed it from Christine Papworth, but I wanted to look awesome) Fran Hoang and I were yelling from the balcony when... Continue reading

Over the next 72 hours, KW Fremont will be relocating to our new office on Paseo Padre Parkway. Our new state-of-the-art facility will feature a single level for all the agents (instead of the two story facility that we are at now). There will be several conference rooms and feature a lounge area for our agents, complete with Starbucks-style table settings. During this time, please be patient with our office. We will be working extremely hard at having our agents be as inconvenienced as little as possible. Myself, Steve, Kelly and Kathleen are committed to helping our agents with anything... CYA..... Not as in See Ya! More as in "Cover your A--!" When we operate as agents, details are often overlooked while we do the 10,000 things that we must do to be a successful Realtor. This weekend, one of our agents held an open house. She had incredible results. Over 100 potential buyers came through the home. While that may sound great, the rest of the story doesn't. One of those potential "buyers" walked away with some of the homeowners valuables. When we as agents hold a listing as an open house, we put many things at risk -... Continue reading
