The level of disconnect from these small southern town SEC schools is truly mind boggling. In what world does someone think that it's ok to joke about a campus shooting when you are a student stringer for ESPN at Alabama. This is below Forest Gump stupid. How clueless can a human being actually be?

Florida LB Andre Smith has reopened his recruitment.
He shares he's "undecided" and has a top 4 of UNC, Wisconsin, Nebraska and Miami.

Social media has a huge impact.
All kids are heavy into it. In athletics, especially for the most sought after athletes, it's a huge factor in many respects.

A lot of times, not always, kids say that stuff because they still want the trips, the steak and lobster dinners, the getting driven around in nice cars, the cute coed "hostesses" and the swag, which they can keep or give to friends.
If it was my son I'd leave it up to him, but just insist that he be a man of his word. If he wants a little time at a nice restaurant and a jumpoff, it's part of growing up as long as it's all consensual.

Virginia has been our kryptonite for years, dating back to RS.
Need to focus on this game. It's crucial. I'm hoping we get off to a fast start and keep them under our thumb for a relaxing game. Like VT.
Much Improved Hurricanes Fall Short Against Seminoles
Coulda. Shoulda. Woulda. Your Miami Hurricanes were this close to pulling of a huge upset win over FSU on Saturday night at Sun Life Stadium. The Hurricanes dominated their in-State rival for all of the first half and most of the game but just could not find a way to close it out with a victor...
Depends on his out clause and how his exit negotiations went the last week or so. He may be prevented from coaching at any level in Florida for the next couple of years, or he may be prevented from coach oping at all, or the SEC, or other possibilities. I believe he's getting (I heard) 6 million. That 6 million doesn't come without strings.
Good DC - but I don't see him as HC material at any major program.

I woke in a parallel universe.
I find myself agreeing with posts from CR, Coc, Dude, and Sarasota.
No excuses. Tough tough loss and I'm still recovering. I thought that last drive was going one for the ages, until the int thrown into coverage.
Nonetheless, despite not winning a game we should/could have won, this is a different team.
Golden must now finish strong and keep everyone focused. Three games to be played, one at a time.

I'm still not clear on who has to lose to whom, but I'll worry about that later.
Right now it's time to head to SLS!!!!!

You're absolutely right. My bad. Ever since the loss to GT, they have been developing their game plans by first checking what random, anonymous but highly qualified posters are saying on blogs and on Twitter, and setting their strategy according to these experienced and well spoken posters (especially the pure genius you see on Twitter).
Or maybe the lack of results finally made them realize they had to change things up.
No. You're right. It was banner flyers and blog coaches.

... and a big no, WW, FSU does not suck, at least not in terms of being a great football team. 25 straight, undefeated, reigning National champs. That's not suckage.
Some of them may suck as human beings, and they haven't played to their potential yet this year, but NO, they don't suck.

I'm hopeful the canes win, but I'm not sitting around waiting for them to lose so I can start tearing into the coaches again.

I distinctly recall a couple of posters pimping McNeil as head coach here, a couple of months back.i don't know if he's any good or not or what his overall record is, but I remember that.
Let's keep it 💯 for real.

Tannehill could have easily run for first down. Instead, he throws a shltty pass. His decision making and intellect have always been suspect.

FHSAA is a joke. They're enablers. They do nothing unless it hits them in the face. Meantime street agents, some of them coaches, run wild down here. But of the most corrupting influences, it's the SEC money, and their bagmen/agents that have made this a cesspool.
The Cloud Often Rains Fertile Water On FSU
The only one that benefited from the "Cloud" that hung over the fate of the UM program from August 2011 to October 2013 was Florida State. It was the same scenario as when the Seminoles benefited from Miami's fall from grace and UM had sanctions to deal with in the mid-90s. Is it any coinciden...

I love our Kayaa, he is the future.
Jameis is a criminal. But on the football field, he is a beast, and the best QB in college football.
If anyone had to pick teams, he would get picked 100 times out of 100 ahead of Brad.
He can win games virtually by himself.

For us to win on Sarurday, every starter will have to play the absolute best game of their careers, and the coaches will have to be almost 100% on their play selection and strategy. Also, our special teams, kickoffs included, will have to be significantly better than they've been all year.
Do that, keep it close, and we have a shot. Remember, FSU has the deeper and more talented team, have won a bunch in crunch time, are the defending champs, and will come out with a huge chip on their shoulders. They have something to prove this week, as if playing a rival isn't enough motivation.

SJMP, I like Butch and I appreciate what he did to bring in the talent to win our last ship.
But the perception, based in part on his own missteps, is that he's tainted. He will never be our coach. He wouldn't even be a candidate for this or any other major jobs, and that was even before all the latest stuff came out.
If for some reason Golden leaves, Butch will not be on our short list, or anybody else's that matters. That's not hate, that's just how I'm sure it is.

It wasn't "substantiated"

So we're in 100% agreement. It wasn't substantiated. There was zero proof. Zero.
Glad you support the canes then, instead of throwing them under the bus over totally unproven allegations. Because only our competitors do that.
We're good.
