Don't you think it's a bit like moving from a house that you felt really at home. Looking round all the empty rooms before you lock the door for the last time?

Thanks for posting all your wonderful pics of Zach over the past few years.
I'll still be following you on Twitter , take care and I hope you are successful with your writing projects!

My feelings about FB are strongly negative. I won't be moving over with you guys. I was a founding member of ZQC. In fact, I was the one who named it. :) It's been one hell of a ride these last four years. Thanks for everything. I'll keep talking to many of you on twitter. I'm easy to find. Fenra...
I'm in favour of a job that isn't stressful even though the pay isn't as good. But then again, some people thrive on it, so it all depends on your personality.
It's a hard descision as you have to weigh up so many different things such as pay differences, job security, traveling costs and the personalities of the people you will be working with and whether the job is interesting and there is sufficient content to be challenging without being too demanding.
Gulp, I wish I could be more helpful, but then I've been working at the same place since 1978 so I'm probably the worst person to give advice.

AAAARRRGGGHH!!!! as if I didn't have enough work - several colleagues ill and the COMPLETE GODDAMN DAY in the info desk ahead! Do I apply for a new job? Downside: large group office. But, even here i get no "downtime", as I share office recently. And days like this. They won't happen as often in ...

It's so sad that the ZQC is finishing very soon. I'm not a great facebook fan, but I'll give it a try.
So one last nobble of the picture above

Good one!
The only other Brian I can think of is the snail from the Magic
Roundabout which would make for a very surreal picture

I can no longer find the link to the introductory message for the ‘new community’ but it was the intention for us to share photos, stories, music and videos that might be of interest, but not necessarily of Zach. Its great when new items of Zach are posted but there are times when things go a bit quiet, however we manage to keep things ticking over. I rarely post items about Zach, only because I don’t have any to post. Bring out the recipes, photos of your home town or any exciting projects you are involved in. Post something when you’re feeling down or your boss is a jerk; there will always be someone around for a sympathetic comment. If I wanted just to look at photos of Zach there are other good websites for that sort of stuff, but this website is unique and as Spock would say ‘Infinite diversity in infinite Combinations’

Hmm, do you know that we have a number of pages here where only 10% is about Zachary? And he's our host! Admittedly I did find the original focus on "he's so hot" and non-stop pictures of him ...well, limited. It was fun doing theme pictures - glasses recently. Eyebrows. Plaids. Happy tr..- ooops...
All cyclists in Britain should wear these costumes, especially at night. There will be no "I didn't see him" excuses then.

There's now over 10 pages of reviews and most are hilarious.
"Although he's clearly not aimed at small children or nervous adults, Wenlock's charismatic blend of Dixon of Dock Green, The Tellytubbies and JRR Tolkien's Dark Lord "Sauron" show modern British creativity at it's best "

Guess what I bought from Amazon!
I saw the reviews and was somewhat intrigued. He's on my desk at work guarding my post-it notes and stapler.
He's still contained in his little plastic dome and he's the smaller dye cast metal version which I suspect is not as mentally disturbing as the larger version. However, I'm tempted to buy the other one, just to intimidate my co-workers....

QUESTION TIME! Summer Olympics!
1. Did you watch the 2008 opening ceremony and the 2012 opening too? If so, which one do you think was best?
I watched all of the 2012 opening ceremony from 9pm to way past 1 am. I can’t compare it to any earlier ceremony because I’ve never seen one, can you believe that! The earliest Olympic Games that I remember was the Tokyo one, 1964, I think. I remember the opening music to it to this day. For the last 40 odd years I’ve avoided watching every Olympic Games apart from a bit of the gymnastics at the Munich Olympics (Olga Korbut and Mark Spitz).
2. Are you interested in watching the Olympics?
I think you can guess my answer, erm, No.
3. If you could choose an Olympic sport to try out for which one would you like to be involved in?
All my joints creak so I’m way past any competitive sport. When I was very young I was very thin and bendy, so if I was still about 11 years old it would have to be gymnastics.
4. Which sport will you be watching if you are interested?
Apart from the world cup, I’m not interested in watching sport on the TV. Two more years to go…
5. What was your favorite part of the opening ceremony?
Mr. Bond and Mr. Bean! And when the torch was being brought into the stadium and the cauldron was being lit by all those young people. I didn’t realise how many countries there were in the world. I missed some countries between R and U as I nodded off for about 20 minutes.
6. What did you think about the Queen's reactions?
I think she looked a bit tired having to sit for so long. A least she wasn’t on a boat in the pouring rain. I have a suspicion that the queen enjoyed her thespian interlude and is secretly hoping for a bit part in ‘Corrie’ in the future.
7. Do you know anyone who would like to compete in the Olympics?
No, but I used to work with someone who competed at the Munich Olympics. He encouraged me to learn to swim at the age of 26.
8. Will you be rooting for anyone?
I have no preferences; whoever gets a medal deserves it
9. What did you think about the Olympic torch lighting?
I thought the way all the individual petals came together to create the cauldron was brilliant.
10. (For Doctor Who fans) Were any of you waiting to see David Tennant dressed as Doctor Who carrying the torch like in that one episode? Matt got to though. lol!
I was a bit disappointed that here were no Daleks in the opening ceremony.
(unless I missed them?)

I don't watch the BBC soap 'Eastenders' but they had the olympic torch going through Albert square which I though was quite funny. It's a shame it wasn't on BBCs hospital soaps 'Casualty' on that Saturday, followed by 'Holtby City' during the week.
