I do the same thing - make meringues at Christmas - I add finely ground pecans, and the recipe was called "Wasp's Nests" (I think because of the color) but yes, easier than ppl think...I am STILL making that Roasted Cauliflower btw! :) Chris

Yummiest cauliflower ever. Seriously, I think this is going to be my new snack food! Thanks Jen! Chris :)
Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! I *just* made some butterscotch ginger cookies that are not that great - too cakey, not enough flavor, although the recipe sounded interesting....These sound delish, going to have to break out the butter and bowls one more time. Any type of cookie you just roll into a ball and plop onto a cookie sheet, has my seal of approval!

This was yummy. I used freshly grated fontina, asiago and some Parm for the cheese topping, and the panko bread crumbs gave it a nice crunch. When I made this (years ago) I baked it, and it came out mushy. With your boiling method, the strands were perfectly separated and held their shape. Love it. I served it with meatballs so my meat loving hubby would not be asking "Where's the beef?" LOL (he loved it btw)
