fruit crisps are a favorite--now to add betty to the list! i get tired more of the texture of baked strawberries than the taste. am looking forward to seeing how raspberries hold up--after a carrot cake for mother's day.

ahh-(sigh)-so eloquent. 'home' is a nuanced word. for me, being a military brat, i have no roots in any city. so home is where my books are-& the cats. each place i have been was home for a little while.

rhubarb is the only shade of pink i enjoy!;) the recipe is wonderful & in the todo pile. the link is great-esp. as the spring birdsong has a tendency to be drowned out w/ neighbor-noise ( & feral cats). thanks!
contentment & joy radiate from this post:) such a lovely way to start my morning! having moved many times, nothing says 'i'm here' like having my books out--furniture is secondary to a bookshelf & kitchen gear for me. thanks for sharing your view..

so what you're saying is, that when moving transatlantic, you could easily change your blog name to: 'cue hysterical laughter'? a very belated happy new year, & glad you made it in safe & sound(even though you had way more snow in germany than i did in connecticut).
