I'm voting for Daddy Bear Paul Krugman to ass-fuck me into a recessionary coma, even if, as many of my friends In The City tell me, he's all chubby now.

Annie Lennox singing Cole Porter for Derek Jarman. And it's even better in the movie, because Steven Waddington and Andrew Tiernan are so inhumanly pretty together.

How to phrase this? Will, I'm a little bit confused. In the past, you've been mildly critical of Steve "Titpig" Hurley for choosing to involve himself with bareback producers like Treasure Island, Hot Desert Knights, and Dick Wadd, but I haven't heard any similar concerns about tonight's guest Antonio Biaggi, though he's been shooting more than a few bareback scenes for SX Studios, Machofucker, Raw Fuck Club/Dark Alley, Spunk Films, Slut Machine/Red Stag, and RawStrokes.com over the last year-ish. I'm not even trying to criticize Antonio or anyone else for doing bareback films of their own free will, any more than I criticize any of the organizers of IML for refusing to sell booth space to bareback film producers of their own free will (because, as I've noted in the past, it's their right to do so). It's not my desire to criticize you for being inconsistent, because considering my own mountainous pile of contradictions, I have no business being bitchy like that. I am, however, still perplexed. It may well be that your acquaintanceship with Biaggi is significantly different from the one you have/had with Hurley, much the same way that my mother, for example, has decided to simply not discuss politics with those of her long-time friends who rather zealously immersed themselves in the Tea Party back in 2008. I don't really know one way or the other, and because my brain is so fried from medications so often lately, I just thought I'd say "I'm confused."

If anyone comes up with something other than "President Michelle Bachmann" or "President Rick Perry," I'm going to start slapping random homosexuals at will.

Back in my near-childhood (twenty-somethingness), I had some make-out sessions that made the sex afterward feel a little disappointing.

To be fair, I'm not going to be disappointed. My expectations are already lowered just on the strength of what Bette Midler had to say about the show.

Holland Taylor will always bounce back. She and Cher are going to outlive cockroaches and keep right on working it.

Well, now that Guttenberg is heavy into waxing, he'll actually fit in on a Jet Set shoot. The last thing I saw him in was a Law & Order Criminal Intent, where he and his waxed chest were cast ironically as the husband in an Alec Baldwin - Kim Basinger case.

I never know what to make of these, really. Seems that Viagra is more useful than previously thought. Dean's body of work on Straight College Men (false advertising on so many levels, as far as I can tall) makes one wonder how he manages.

I hate the hell out of Little House on the Prairie, but I love me some Alison Arngrim. Mostly because she came to see me in a production of As Is I was in about 20 bazillion years ago. I hate the fact that every time I'm in an AIDS drama I get cast in the ensemble part that has the drug dealer in it. I just can't work with that. :-D

Since we know through Gus Mattox that it's possible to have an AEA card and be a porn performer at the same time, it begs the question: why isn't this guy a porn performer? Okay, it's a nice strip, and I don't really have to see every man that's naked in front of me having sex. I just prefer to see every man who's been naked in front of me having sex. All the same…

Please. The man spends at least half his time in Palm Springs, I'm sure he spends at least a little time in a gym every once in a while. :-D

That was a serious bummer, yeah. So let's count. Fox canceled Wanda At Large several years ago, then Wanda Does It had a short run on Comedy Central, and now CBS and FOX bust her all at once. I think TV is just not ready for Wanda. Damn shame, too, because she is all that and some hot wings.

All told, Tuc is actually on contract with OLTL this go-round, because he's in town with the play and DH is on hiatus, so he doesn't have to be in LA for the time being.

I've only been a Nielsen family through the diary program, so I know there's a place for time-shifted viewing. I don't really know how they're reflected in actual ratings though. Tivo and DVRs being at least indirectly addressable, though, makes internet tracking viable, certainly, if a bit Big Brother in vaguely unnerving ways.

Side note: I think that Jack Wrangler is only as straight as Margaret Whiting says he is. From what I've read of his autobiography, he told her upfront he was gay. Still, he was very devoted to her. He went through his post porn theatrical career as Jack Wrangler, too, so it's not like he ran away from that part of himself in any sense.

Not that you asked, but SoapNet, though still a subsidiary of Disney like sister network ABC, is still a separate network and would receive separate ratings, not to mention that SoapNet also shows same-day repeats of NBC and CBS soaps that would have a completely different set of advertisers that don't necessarily sponsor the re-airings on another network. Also, as happened in the case of an episode of Gray's Anatomy a few seasons ago, the show would have to be run on the same network with all the same commercials in the same places -- which is to say, fundamentally a complete re-broadcast -- to count for additional ratings to count. Ratings are all about advertising at their very core, and from an accounting standpoint, that money doesn't get mixed up between separate sets of books/networks.

Short answer: Obviously not. I suppose he could go all American Graffiti, but does anyone really want to now?
