Autumn's new favorite word to throw around is 'fabulous'. She says it about anything and everything. OK.. not really. But these are mighty exciting to me. I have never, ever seen flakes this huge.. now don't all you Canadians or people from the north/east start telling me about your darn 5" snowflakes.. go and ruin my excitement! Psssh! I found this recipe about 2 years ago.. now it shows it's lovely face at any party I have.. or go to. It's SUPER easy and yummy.. at least from what I hear.. cream cheese scares me so I don't eat it. I don't really eat anything that looks weird... LOL! So... you will need... Two 8oz packages of cream cheese 2 cups cheddar cheese (finely grated).. I am a BEAT lol. I always forget how much work birthday parties are! We didn't have a huge turnout like we usually do so I kept things simple. We ordered some subs and all the sides... I made a yummy cheese ball with crackers (recipe to come soon!), spinach dip, chips, cookies, candy, veggie and fruit platters, etc. All the typical yummy party foods! I live in BFE! (Bum 'f' Egypt!) I do.. I do. And I love it! I love the whole country feeling out here. I live in the mountains where we get great weather year round. Our community is gated and it's a really 'everyone knows everyone' area. I live walking distance to a lake/park and we have a country club down the street... very nice. But.. no shopping. And for someone who loves to shop it's not a good thing. No mall unless you drive an hour away.. and it's a crappy mall. Starbucks is a 30 mile round trip!... Continue reading

Since I will be posting a little skirt tutorial soon I thought I would share a tutorial on how to gather first. Gathering is super easy to do.. some people think it is a pain in the butt (because sometimes it is lol). They make gathering foots for your sewing machines and sergers.. but..
