I'm Back!!
If any of you have been following my blog I am sure you have noticed that I haven't posted anything in a looooong while! Long story short, I started working full time in September of last year and had to put my crafting aside. I was really bummed because I didn't think I would be able to do what I loved and was a huge stress reliever for me. I have met some fabulous ladies at work who also share the love of crafting and have motivated me to start up again. I won't be able to post everyday, but... Continue reading

Your Birthday's in the Bag!
I made this Birthday card for a friend of mine and I really love the color combination. I think my favorite in color is the Poppy Parade which is the base of this card. I wanted to use the Poppy Parade color but was stuck on which colors to put with it so I whipped out the color coach and these are the colors it told me to use: Poppy Parade, So Saffron, Not Quite Navy and Baja Breeze. I also used the free Level One Hostess stamp set Birthday Bakery. This is such an cute set and perfect for... Continue reading

Box with Cards
This is a box I made for a birthday gift. I got the template from Ilina. It was so easy to make! This box holds four cards and envelopes. I will show you the cards tomorrow. I made the flower on the front by punching 3 scallops using the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Extra Large Punch. Crumple them up and lay flat. Using paper snips, snip the scallop edges all the way around. Layer on top of one another and attach using a brad. Super easy! Here is a list of supplies: Stamps: Lovely Letters Alphabet (115030) Ink: Early Espresso (119670)... Continue reading

Halloween Match Box
This is another project we will be doing during our Stamp Camp on Wednesday. I used the Matchbox Bigz XL die and some retired halloween paper. The Matchbox die is so great! It has endless possibilities. Not only does it cut out the matchbox, but it also cuts out 3 different shaped tags! Come join us on Wednesday for a night of fun! Email me at [email protected] for more details. The matchbox holds for Hershey's Nuggets that I wrapped in some of the halloween dsp. Isn't that darling? The Artistic Etchings stamp set really is beautiful and there are so many things you can do with it. I was trying to make a vintage inspired card for my card class and this is what I came up with. I should have taken it a step further, but maybe next time. :) Did you know the new catalog has a distressing kit called Distressing Essentials? It's on page 195 of the catalog and comes with everything you need to make "distressed" cards or scrap book layouts. I don't have one yet, but I can't wait to order one. It's... Continue reading

For You
This is another great card we made at my card class. I CASED this layout from Stampin' Connection. I tweaked it a little to make it my own. :) I can't remember the person who created it, but when I saw it I thought it was so elegant and pretty. It's really quick and easy to make. I used the new Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impressions Embossing Folder out of the 2010/20100 Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog. I stamped the floral image from the Elements of Style Stamp set and then punched two butterflies out. I also punched two butterflies... Continue reading

A paper share is where I will offer all the designer series paper in the catalog. You can order a 12 x 12 share or a 6 x 6 share. You will get one of every designer series paper.... Continue reading

I got inspired by this card from a card that is on the front of the 2010/2011 Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog. Mine is not exactly the same, but I love how it turned out! I love stamping... I have a bunch of stamp sets that are retired so I will be selling them at my booth. This is one of the signs I made that I attached to a basket of stamps.
