Wow, this is a huge change! It's going to take some getting used to since I've gotten into the habit of checking this site daily, if not commenting every day. But at least our community will still exist in one form so we can share our interests and appreciation of Zach, the man himself. I've already clicked join, so I'll see you guys there!

I love television, so that's one of my "chicken soups for the soul." I love going back with Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. When I need a good laugh, I tend to go to Community, The Soup and Whose Line is it Anyway. And most often when I watch these shows I'm doodling, which I've found to be such a relaxing way to spend my time these days. A good doodle can let your mind wander and be free. What results can be a true piece of art.

It's a damn shame he had to die so soon. He really did seem like a good person with a warm heart and memorable laugh. I'm going to have to rewatch Armageddon and the Green Mile to pay tribute to him.

Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?

I saw the DKR yesterday at an early matinee and really enjoyed it. I heard about the story on the radio prior to going, though it didn't deter me from taking in a movie. It's frightening to think that someone would use the movie as cover to enact this... atrocious attack. I like going to superhero movies because they give me hope that there are good people out there who sincerely want to help others. I don't know what I would have done in such a situation, whether or not I would have the courage to stand up to such a person. I know I would do anything to protect those around me and help the injured. This situation just makes me mad and I really hope justice is served. I fully believe in karma and have no doubt in my mind that this guy will suffer the consequences of his actions every day for the rest of his life. If there's one line from the movie that I would like to reiterate it's this: "Why do we fall? It's so we can learn to pick ourselves back up."

@DestinyRaven my prayers and thoughts go out to you in this tragic event. I can only imagine how horrific it was to witness that kind of scene. I used to live in Colorado (Fort Collins) when I was a kid, so the state still feels like home to me and such a story tears at my heart. I pray for all the families that have been effected by this tragedy.

So thrilled AHS got so many nominations! It's too bad Zach didn't get any, but hey, the Emmy voters are kind of dumb about this stuff. They really snubbed Community in the comedy category, only giving it a nomination for writing.

I've read on the bus before, especially when I was in university and had to take the bus all the way downtown. These days I just daydream on the bus and stare out the window, listening to my music on my iPod. And fortunately, I even have a few books on my iPod to read whenever I feel like it. If you think reading on the bus is something, try sleeping on one! I do it from time to time, especially when I don't have a window to look out of. There's nothing worse than getting on a packed bus and not knowing where to look. It's especially hard when someone's crotch or butt is in your face. :|

How do the rest of us win dinner with you? Maybe breakfast? Or brunch? How about brunch? LOL!
