I love how, in the movie, something has happened where it rains all the time and this US city is full of Japanese people. Unexplained, as is almost everything else.
I think the deal here is that you are supposed to get that Deckard, as he thinks about how Rachel is a replicant and doesn't know it, comes to suspect that he, or anyone, could also be a replicant, and comes then to sympathize with them.
I don't think a strong woman showed up in a Sci Fi movie until Alien, which, strangely, was the movie Ridley Scott made before he made Blade Runner. Still, they haven't exactly caught on.
I Saw Blade Runner!
After watching all the Star Wars last month (no blog posts! I enjoy my IRL friendships), I gravitate towards Harrison Ford pics much more than before. Plus, Tracie rolled her eyes and nearly fainted with offense every time I mentioned my ignorance of this movie. And so I watched Blade Runner ...
