Skinny Jeans
New York: Union Square Inspiration: Men's jeans are getting as skinny as women's. Will we start seeing men in jeggings soon? Or is that already the case and I've just missed the trend?

thanks for sharing.
Another Rainy Day in the City
New York: Union Square Inspiration: It's raining again today. Last night, everyone said it would snow. So, I am glad it's just rain. But I could really use some sun right now! In any event, one of the things rain inspires me to do (other than stay in and snuggle up on my couch) is to go outsi...

Winter Beaches
New York: Coney Island, Brooklyn Inspiration: Winter beaches aren't for everyone. The winds are harsh. The water is uninviting (except to the Polar Bear club). The sun is weak and leaves us in mid-afternoon. The cold is bitter. There's little to do but roam the coast and walk the pier....
WOW!
thank you.
Skyline
New York: Long Island City, Queens Inspiration: Located in the borough of Queens, Long Island City is a large area with about ten different neighborhoods, tons of great restaurants and art galleries and a fantastic view of Manhattan. I drove to the park from where I took this photograph, but o...
do you have a copy of that photo in color? The black and white version is so arresting that i somehow need to see it in color too.
Street Portraiture: Striped
New York: Greene Street, Soho Inspiration: On Sunday afternoon, the weather went from hot and sunny to hot and blustery to hot and rainy to cool and sunny. In one of those transitioning moments in Soho, I caught a glimpse of this guy eating a late lunch while chatting on his phone. Once I caug...
what i was going to say, has already been said above. no composition=spectacular when it is the PD aiming the camera.
Magnolia Heaven
New York: Washington Square Park Inspiration: Magnolias are one of my favorite flowers. I go crazy every Spring photographing them. I am literally in Magnolia Heaven. The composition is non-existent in these photos because all that matters are the colors and shapes of the flowers.
stunning. motion and mood, yet still and quiet.
Smokin' in the Rain
New York: Thompson on the corner of Houston (Soho) Inspiration: I suppose that when one need a smoke break, it doesn't matter what the weather is like outside.
Hello PD! That first shot is ridiculously beautiful. Amazing composition of light and dark. Stunning, which is why you are always part of my morning ritual.
Solitude
New York: South Street Seaport Inspiration: "It is good to be alone. To be far away from the world and yet walk its streets is to be alone." Jiddu Krishnamurti, Philosopher 1895-1986 I am attracted to solitude in photography. The sole figure in a photograph, or in life, is often viewed as a...
I know you took this in New York, but it takes me straight to Paris. Thank you.
Reader in the Rain
New York: Union Square Inspiration: Some people appreciate a good rainfall while others simply love being in the rain, including reading in a park amid a downpour protected only by a little drug-store umbrella. Also, I suppose that in cities where ample indoor living space is a luxury, people ...
