I just joined my sister's art journaling group. So since I haven't posted FOREVER, I thought this would be a good starting point. This is my, it's been a great day of rest, so happy to begin a new week, face. A post spring break, catching up on being all together and being at home kinda day. I have so much to be grateful for! Coyote Calling... Kennedy, Rivers & Scout idolize their daddy. Rightfully so. I couldn't ask for a better father to my children. Gavin is very passionate about hunting, he was raised hunting & it is just part of his nature to want to go out into the forest and shoot something. He is doing his part to conserve nature & wildlife. This may sound contradictory to some, but there is a definite need for animal population control. Varmint hunting is one of the ways to do this. To put it mildly, things around the ROONEY household have been, well let's just say, BUSY! We are all enjoying this busy life of ours. We're learning LOTS (from our mistakes) as we go. What an amazing experience SPARK no.3 was. I was inspired by the beauty that was all around. I can not put into words the appreciation I felt for the countless hours that went into making it all possible. I was schooled by women who are just beyond my creative realm. Scout really enjoyed making rock sculptures. Gavin, being the awesome dad he is, made sling shots for the girls the night before our church (ward) camping trip. as you can see, the girls had lots of fun with them (sarcasm) Gavin & Bro. in Law Dave, just had to test them out... ...no, but really, they LOVED their sling shots. Even more than shooting them, they loved that their daddy took the time to make them with them. Love that my girls hero is their DADDY! I'm lucky to have such as amazing hubbs! LOVE that guy!
